Man, I could start throwing stuff up about Marx and postmodernism and all that shit, but I'm just too lazy (to cut and paste stuff from wikipedia) to do so.
Or I could go biblical and be like NYC = S&G ??
But forreals tho, hasn't NYC just gotten fancier and sleeker from the 80's on? I heard NY was pretty nasty and trashy in the 60's through 70's.
And with street culture and consumerism, I don't know how it was before but it seems like there's a good amount of independent brands being blown up and that seems better than everyone clamoring for one style/brand. Oh damn, forgot about nike.
Hope someone understands this.
yea NYC used to be more dangerous place, a lot of violence. There was a lot of prostitution, peep shows, xxx stores, drugs all over the place. It's gotten a whole lot better.
the area around time square used to be an area to avoid at night, now its all bright and touristy.

Urecco, Urecco Gal, Beppin, Bejean....oh wait? FASHION magazines opps!
Just the same old Japanese, HK, etc magazines everyone is posting. I don't buy them, I just go to the store and look through them. Only buy em when they come with free hypebeast material worthy to be resold to the masses.

Flipmode skate. I know the kid who made that video, Peter S.
Went to elementary and JHS with him. Too bad I was too busy with the Asian kids playing Pokemon rather than hanging out and learning how to skate with him.
lol w.e being pokemaster of my school was totally cool! -____-
btw back to the question: yea i've seen a lot of hoodkids like that in NYC. oh well, at least its better that than dressing all thug and gangsta and tall 50XL tees and 32x108 rocawear pants with a size 26 fitted cap and some fake uptowns.

The 15th is alright, nothing special, the padding on the straps is rather thin and the laptop compartment, well would you even class it as a laptop compartment?
I've owned the 8th edition, 10th and 15th, currently own the 20th edition duffle bag for overnight stays and weekends away. They're okay bags, nothing special, it's all about the hype
well looking at it now yes its nothing special. But back then it was pretty cool to me. Haven't seen another bag that's out there with the Swiss camo...maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Well the laptap compartment probably wont be good for huge laptops, its thin but it keeps it close to my back so i guess its protected. I have a laptop but I keep it at home. Lemme try sticking it in and see how it is.
Don't really know how much hype there was for Preme backpacks back then.
But!! If anyone has a 14th Raindrop lemme know!

I use a Supreme 15th Backpack and it has served me well since I got it when it came out.
It's raining hard as hell here in NYC the past few days and its repelling the water.
about that porter bag up there....i've been eyeing that bag for a while. too bad its like $508 plus tax here in the NYC HP Store. Gotta save up my money.

I remember making a topic a few months back asking how to tell if an HP bag is fake or not.
Does anyone know specifics? Thanks.

No one cares about box caps? Stick to your supreme hypebeast.
New Era fitteds have been a staple here for urban fashion in New York City for a long time. Where the hell have you been?

nothing in the new line worth coppin' so far except for a box tee.
i wouldn't be caught dead wearing that dipset tee.
then again I can make all the tees they put out myself by printing the pictures of the box logo, kate moss, or dipset on a tshirt from my printer.
to adrian about white dudes lining up to a korean bar = they obvious want to pick up some korean girls for some "me luv you long time" action.

WTB: Headporter Shoulder Bag

Posted
the NY Head Porter store is VERY expensive as well.
I'll check for you the next time I'm there...I'm looking to buy one of their 3 in 1 bags.
