in order to better accomodate a wider range of possible responses, i made it so that you could choose more than one option, for example, you may choose 'beating his wife' and 'beating his wife', or 'beating his wife' and 'beating his wife', or 'beating his wife' and 'beating his wife' and 'beating his wife'.

i understand that it would have been helpful to include the option 'beating his wife' as a fifth choice, but i feel that featuring such an option would sway voters far too much from the obvious issue here, which is primarily and chiefly made up of wife-beating.

this poll makes much more sense if you emphasise different syllables in "beating his wife" on each option.
