  1. @Alec Leamas here are my DSB 1000XX, after 3 years... I haven't worn them that much latley as I have other pairs in my rotation now. The front pockets are falling apart inside, but otherwise they are holding up pretty good, they been repaired a couple of times. The most irritating repair was that the seam in the crutch broke after 1 month of wear...
  2. Yeah I think the price at CC is bonkers too, but the thing I reacted to was that the expected way of enlightenment was to first buy the goods in a brick and mortar store and then advancing to finding out that the same product can be bought online straight from Japan at a much cheaper cost (and even cheaper if you “mark the item as a gift”). Then people complain about stores closing down, like what happened with Oi Polloi and many more. I guess it’s all been said before and that we all are on the same page.
  3. I always try to buy most stuff from stores located in Sweden (i.e. Second Sunrise and Göteborg Manufaktur), because I want them to exist. It is the same reason I don't buy my books from Amazon. I want to be able to go to a good book store in Stockholm and browse and maybe get recommendations. The prices at CC seems to be steep but I like what they do in their store and the content they are creating on IG etc. I've only been there once but I got great service and they are good at discovering and showcasing different brands.
  4. Yeah, I would say the shrinkage is almost the same for the 47 and 53's.
  5. https://www.cultizm.com/en/denim/jeans/40015/denime-lot-220a-offset-xx-model-selvedge-indigo-14.5oz – they have 30% off right now with the code E30
  6. @ChemProfJSpencer I got the S10001XX(1000XX) DSB 1947 (W33xL32), and they shrank from 87cm to 79cm inseam after one 40 C wash...
  7. Based on this information these jeans https://www.cultizm.com/en/denim/jeans/32252/warehouse-co.-lot-1001xx-1947-model-jeans-unwashed-indigo are DSB? I can’t find any information about it being DSB and they don’t look the same in rigid state as my previous DSB.

  9. @Maynard Friedman ah thanks, makes sense now when you say it...
  10. Here I found a similar pair which are dated to 2006, https://www.501vip.com/products_detail/view/7474567
  11. Hi, I would need help identifying which year this LVC 1955 were produced. I'm also wondering when LVC started to print the product number on the patch, instead of just 501XX, same goes for when they started to print LVC on the pocket bags. These jeans do not have any text in regards to LVC, but when I search for the product number I get results connected to LVC, from what I heard the 50155.01.16 is the standard product number for the unwashed 55s. I bought them from a seller on the Swedish site Tradera. The denim feels super stiff but they have been washed 2-3 times. Thanks!
