thanks to beautiful freak for telling me about bears toyko. shipping was really fast and they already had been shortened to 32" length by DC4 which is next door.
my W32" "one wash" pair measures roughly 34" in waist and 36" in length. I would expect these to fully shrink to a real 32" waist and and a 30" leg after a couple of washes.
if I had known better I would have sized down to a W30. when the sun gets out again I will do some photos for comparison to the us made version, the denim comes really dark compared to the SC42021 which I got earlier this year. anyone else got a pair of these 1955z?
Got my pair w30 today from Bears. I actually really like the zipper, but that's probably because I haven't used on a pair of jeans in probably over a decade. Here are some shitty pics I took in my room really quick. My initial thought pulling these out of the bag were if they were even one-washed or not since there was hardly any creasing.
Unfortunately the thighs are a bit tight so if anyone has a w31 to trade or would like to take these off my hands, I'd let em go for cheap.

I’ve had to wash these black 1947s (and everything else I wear) pretty often since my kid has gotten a habit of wiping his hands on me whenever he touches something gross (which is all the time) and have gotten some pretty nice grays coming out in a short amount of time. Really love how this black fabric ages.
Woah, I love how much the gray is coming out. How did you go about washing your pair? Contemplating washing mine soon.

Sugarcane X Begin W36
They’re the most unique denim pair I’ve ever had … & I’ve had a few through the years. Thank U @julian-wolf
After a couple of days wear, they’ve softened & stretched out. I just love the indigo hues … & how loose x loungy they’ve become … my denim Skittles
WOW those colors really come out in the sunlight. Absolutely gorgeous. Digging the matching shoes too

There is also Snake Oil Provisions in Long Beach
To my knowledge and from what one of the workers told me (can't remember who) was that they sent all their garment alterations to denim academy next door. I think I'm just going to send it into Railcar at this point :/ Nothing against RC, but I just like being able to physically drop off and pick up my clothes from the tailors.
Edit: Checked Snake Oil's site and they do in fact outsource their tailoring to Academy.

Not sure where in the OC you are but you can also try Railcar Fine Goods in El Monte
Thanks, but that's even further than going to LA for me

So Academy of Denim closed in Long Beach... I know I could head to LA, but does anyone know where else I can get my jeans chainstitch hemmed closer to OC?

Should be able to get one of these on Rakuten
edit: spotted this if you’re a 38. You’d need to proxy http://item-jkstyle.shop-pro.jp/?pid=141387587
Thanks! The measurements for the deluxe one look really good for me. Also, junky’s site says the lee archive piece is non wash; how much do you think it would shrink?

Any companies that make a lee 91-b repro?

Hey all, I'm having some trouble figuring out what size to get the s40's in and was wondering if I could get some advice. I wear a 31 in 50s straight (probably could've squeezed into a 30 and stretched it).

So I made a booboo ordering my 66's from Denimio... I didn't account for how the waist was going to sit given how high the rise is and they ended up way too loose. Anyone wanna buy this w31 for $160 shipped conus w/ priority? to save me the hassle of paying return shipping? rest of the picsEnded up returning0 -
How do I go about purchasing a pair of para boots in the US without paying markup? Any good dealers that ship internationally?

Grailed link Looking to sell my size 36 SC66 It was horrendously tight on me after cold 30 min soak and line dry so I ended up with a 38 which fits a lot better. Bought literally a week ago and willing to let it go for a lot less than my grailed link w/ conus shipping incl just to recoup some funds. Never worn outEDIT: Sold to srudy
