I had been contemplating getting one of their Tabby Coats before the contest was announced. I think I saw they had special pandemic patches on their blog.

Chart Measurements => My measurements for size 38 raw presoak:

Waist 101.4 => 99

Thigh 36.3 => 36

Rise 37 => 37.5

Knee 27.28

Hem 24.5 => 24.5

Length 98.7 => hemmed to 85

I would usually get the waist flat and double it, but I couldn't in this case so the 99 is an actual circumference measurement... probably a bit more than 99 in actuality. They look a little like clown pants on me now, but should be great once they are soaked. I don't remember when I had a pair of pants with this high a rise... maybe when I was a kid.

The jeans were in southern Washington State along the Columbia River the other day. The jeans picture (not taken by me) was at a Stonehenge replica monument for the locals who died during WWI. It was very hot but the 32oz NDBNs were still comfortable. For me at least. Stopped by the nearby Maryhill Winery for a tasting and some snacks. Then went up Dog Mountain which was nice but had a 3000' elevation change in like 2.5 miles. I did put on hiking boots for that. Per some recent discussion in the General Nonsense thread, a fire had just broken out across the Columbia in Oregon, but it had just started so I did not see any smoke and had learned about it after getting back from the hike.

Fires in WA and OR as usual too, but not as bad as it had been the last few years when huge swaths of WA were choked with smoke. Tho I guess there is still time for that to happen.

Just got my shipping notification (Rigid and hemmed) to the US. Well to be shipped THUR 20 AUG but it is already Thursday in Japan.

assuming I get them before the 1st, I will probably soak them the day before and actually start wearing them on the 1st.

my current primary pair will be sad when the TCBs come in, but they need repairs anyway.
