Love that orange color on the FW jacket!

Cool shirt, Edwin. I'd been thinking of getting the lighter colored version. Seeing this makes me want to seal the deal.

And the same to you!

@CSL where did you buy the Offy? It looked more bright red in photos I saw online?
Shredwin, I got it from McFly. They still had it in 17.5. I also bought the bright yellow/khaki version.
It's more orange than red but I might have toned down the saturation too much in that photo.

Yes. That's them. They come in a bag with 1946 printed on it, so slightly post WW2 I suppose...

I used to be an obsessive shoe polisher. Lots of spitting & rubbing tiny circles with a cloth wrapped finger. Sounds vaguely obscene, doesn't it?
Back then I had one good pair of shoes (wingtips/brogues) & a pair of engineer boots. I recall my chums taking the piss out of my shiny boots yet to me it felt right to keep them regularly polished.
I rarely have time for that routine anymore & save that approach for for leather that has somewhat of a natural shine.

I like that sharp angle on the sole. Reminds me of those vintage shoes known as Philadelphia Spades.

I think @CSL did
I did, but not the expensive pair with the arcs.

This is the store that I've ordered Two Moon from.

Are we talking sweatshirts, Topnotcher?
I've been happy with Cushman. They make a few different styles. Two Moon are quite good too. I'd say both lean to the 'vintage fit' side of things.
Also worth mentioning, both are reasonably priced.

Digging the wide fit @CSL
Thanks! Me too. It's been a while since I had jeans this wide. I'm reminded of why I liked that look back in the day.

@Talan They're the WWII model. I'm really liking them so far.

Did any of this really happen, or were you 'off yer face on shrooms'?
Seriously, sorry for your injury & shitty experience, Neal.

Any good options for plain white t-shirts all cotton threads?
would prefer Japanese brands as I live in Tokyo and can probably go and try on.For me most all of the heritage brand T's are too short for my needs. That being said, I do like the fabric on the Real McCoys loopwheeled T's.
I also been happy with Mister Freedom T's (should available in Japan).
I'd check out Stevenson Overall too. I don't have their t-shirt but their henleys are great.

After looking at the embarrassingly large stack of denim in my closet, & swearing I'd never buy another pair of jeans, I broke down & did exactly that. I couldn't resist the temptation of the 30th anniversary model that Standard & Strange just got in stock. Based on the photos I thought they looked pretty special. I now have them & can say it's the stiffest denim I've ever encountered. I can see they'll need a soak before wearing.
Back in the late 90s a Japanese friend brought me a pair of FC which he considered the best Levi-esque repro at the time. They had a more varied catalogue back then. Work jeans with white stitching, a khaki type II jacket are a couple of cool things I remember.
I'm sorry to hear there was aggro with TCB who I also like.

@CSL that’s one shirt I hope to find someday
There was one on Yahoo auctions a while back that was just sitting. Cheap too.

Sorry to bring up a month-old post……
but do you find you get much shrink out of those Bronson shirts if you dry them? I recently grabbed a few and have been hang drying.
Sorry for the late reply. I'm a hang dryer too.

I don't know about the accuracy of the TCB high rise to originals but I like it.
I also found their cut has less hip flare than most, which I also like.
