  1. you lucky bugger! thanks for testing out an early release and the write up. that chest tension zip is a nice addition, can you completely remove the chest pocket?

but as you mentioned that white is going to be insane to keep clean. j1e-spot clean 24/7.

i personally like seeing all the iterations of J1A and how it's evolved since its formation. i certainly don't think it's a dilution in any way. rather it gives strength to acronym's principle of tweaking little things moving forward to improve upon previous versions.

agreed, every brand has staples no matter how big or small. like visvim and their christos/virgil folk boots. re-released every season but they tweak with material and craftsmanship - and always in demand. be interesting to see what the next gen of GT is going to be like

Any good tips for reactivating DWR on a freshly washed gt pro jacket WITHOUT having to use a tumble dryer? Using grangers 2 in 1. Happy about useful recommendations!

i don't have a tumble dryer at home so i have been using a hair dryer. for about 15-20 mins then leave to hang dry. works fine for me.

Is your guidance the same for both of these? I mean I know they're wide pants so shouldn't worry about my thighs being 25" an issue for either cut, P10 or the 34? I definitely don't want them too baggy, based on the photos on the main site, Medium would be fine for me as well, ill check the length..I am 170cm

ah sorry i was talking about the P35-DS. i have thicker thighs and calves than the average person so the pants actually do not fit so baggy but i could see it being baggy for someone who is on the thinner side. however the DS material is so unstructured that it just drapes fairly nicely especially since there are not external cargo pockets. take a look at this post.

i think with your height size S might be the way to go. i don't think these pants would look great with stacking

Not a pro at fitpics but here are a few of the new P35-DS. I'm 180cm / 75kg wearing a Size M together with a custom Enfin Leve Dryskin Shirt and Birkenstocks because, you know, staying at home anyways for how long it will be necessary.

  5. bit off topic from the current conversation, has anyone had any experience with re-dying/colouring black stotz pants? what was the process like and what products did you use? would simplicol or dylon dyes work? is the colour consistent with the rest of the farbic? how long do they last? i understand many here like the patina but i personally cannot stand it and am planning for the eventuality that the whole pants will need an injection of new colour. my back pocket is already seeing some wear from abrasion.
