The long mod seems like it might fit perfectly inside the DAF-1 neoprene. Great write up, good pic examples.

Why do you care this much about an old as fuck spec? SMH
I'm just a completionist, why can't I? Take it to PM if it bothers you I don't want to clog up this thread.

looks like a ss08 EJ1A, someone might removed the pocket
The large stitching on the front does not make ANY sense at all.
Isn't the front flak pouch sewn all the way around? Not just in two spots? I don't see how you could remove the stitching for the pouch without leaving permanent/noticeable visual blemishes.

WTB: P9-S Gen 1 spec sheet and replacement baggy. Don't really care if the sheet is a reprint as long as it's nice quality. Will gladly pay the shipping and the amount required for the copying + printing itself.
I know one of you has it come on out, easy money.

Also popping up on eBay. Microgrid backer, the same style slings, etc...still not hard to tell if you know what you're looking for, but this is making fakes even more accessible than before.

On the p17 the ribbon doesn’t have any sort of friction or stretch. It also isn’t really meant for holding the pants up, you need a belt. If you look at the old marketing pics you can see.
Some of the newer oversized pants have friction locks for the ribbon to actually work as a belt.
I figured as much, since the only people to use the ribbon to hold the pants up were retailers. Mothersite always had a belt.

So the 1in webbing cinches the waist by way of friction?
I bought a roll of 7/8 polyester ribbon last night and threaded it through the waist. Pulled it to cinch but did not work. I guess ultimately it won’t be needed since I use a belt anyways. Just kinda frustrating cause I want it to work as intended.
I thought it cinched the waist by being pulled tight and knotted just like drawstrings.

I bought a pair of P17s on Yahoo JP and it came without the Nylon Webbing for the waist cinch, I should have paid more attention to the listing (fuuuh). I don't think just threading a replacement through the waist will fix it, correct me if I'm wrong. How to fix this shit?
Not an expert, but standard 1inch webbing would work just fine. I believe the ACR one is semi elastic (might just be standard nylon webbing) and has the ends doubled up twice and sewn. All you'd need to do is get roughly the same measurements (seems to be double the length of the waist) run it through the pants and done.
Hope that helps!

Looks like the games art director is an acronym fan/follows @dobu.haisen on insta
Also a 1KCorp fan, Dobu made the original logo for Fern. I'd say based on the actual look of the clothes it's more bordering towards 1Kcorp, less ACR. But still pretty cool to see.

Its nice to see smiles while wearing Acronym or other techwear. Normally people just look like their puppy just died. Love the pants in that fit! I also regret selling my black DAF-1, they look so good and subtle.

Isn't that the same as j36-s just different location?
If you mean having a pocket flap, yeah. Most of them do. I just meant the orientation of the flap. I think it looks cool. Not only that, but it won't catch on the gravity pocket zipper pulls every time you walk, haha. I'm referring to the bottom two hand pockets, like you see on most jackets (to clarify).

I like the J33-E a lot and I'm curious if they'll ever do a GT or Stotz variant. It seems like a pattern/fit that would benefit greatly from a bit more structure, not a fan of wrinkly fabrics. I noticed when it's unzipped the jacket kinda just flops out (you can see it in the 10th photo down) not that it's a bad thing, just not something I find particularly appealing. I love those pockets though, I haven't seen any other Acronym jacket with those side hand pockets hidden under a flap like that. Is there any particular reason, or is it just stylistic? It looks really good! KG block is probably my favorite jacket pattern ever, it's just so articulated. Can't decide if I like the black or alpha green more, but I'm excited to see how people will wear it.
