  1. Adding onto my point, lol.
  2. Yeah, I never said anything about a pink J1A lol...... but now am actually curious. You're right, I don't know the quantity they've made which is verbatim what I said in my original statement.
  3. No assumptions here, just pointing out that the two freshest jacket designs offered from ACR are not flying off the shelves in a matter of seconds/minutes like they would've in 17'. You're right, you don't survive 20 years on word of mouth, but if you noticed this is actually the first time Acronym is acting as a typical "Fashion Brand" from a marketing perspective. Kitty wore the J115 to the Rick show and E made sure to capture her wearing it for the social media tease, next was the itemized newsletter followed by ACR uploading the entire Drop A photo catalog onto the IG page, AND now for the first time ever we are forced a page upon accessing the mothersite offering the "exclusive" J115/J117 in your face so you couldn't possibly miss them. This is why I phrased my wording as "wandered too far from the path they were once following to success". Guaranteed if those jackets were instead J28E/J1AS in mothersite exclusive colorways.......they would be soldout.
  4. Either they made 100x J115/J117, or they’re realizing right this minute that they have indeed wandered too far from the path they were once following to success.
  5. I guess it’s ironic one of my favorite ACR jackets has zero subsystems? lol. Feels like Max Mara for Acronym. I can’t begin to count how many compliments i’ve received in the small amount of time i’ve owned it so far.
  6. After 6 years of patience, P25 are finally mine. Hands down my favorite pants i’ve ever worn.
  7. I'll take odd over boring any day lol.
  8. Let's dive into new designs. With numerous reiterations of past highly-desired designs, it often feels like truly fresh designs can sometimes get lost in the mix. Has anyone noticed any genuinely innovative designs that stand out, and if so, what makes them stand out? I'm on the verge of purchasing the J87-WS, and several aspects are catching my attention. Firstly, the fabric choice - WS is a personal favorite due to its excellent functionality, being packable, lightweight, waterproof, and providing year-round comfort. The ability to switch the Jacket Sling from the back to the front is intriguing and something I'd like to test. The addition of back pleated detailing for backpack coverage, while I don't use backpacks frequently, is certainly interesting. The Storm Hood detailing, especially with the collar closed, not only looks stylish but also seems practical for heavy rain situations. Lastly, the chest pockets appear to serve their purpose exceptionally well.
  9. Thank you for delving into the details of this jacket. Acronym delivering a workwear jacket was something I had been eagerly anticipating for a long time, and right from its initial release, I could sense that it was more than just impressive in terms of patternmaking. My primary question now pertains to the user experience. I've noticed that this jacket sold out almost immediately, despite its high price, indicating a significant demand from ACR fans for GTB I presume (Based on P38 in GTB selling out immediately vs. the GT iteration now sitting). However, since the release of the J86, I've noticed a substantial number of them being resold, and when I say 'many,' I mean 'NG-4 many.' This leads me to believe that despite the jacket's initial appeal, it may fall short of expectations when actually worn.
  10. I second J61-WS, perfect all year round for So-Cal. J54-LP would be my grail, bummed it's never come across my table even as an opportunity to grab. The hood structure and pocket layout are incredible.
  11. Ah, there we go, that makes much more sense. And, wow, they're using Polartec again?! The P38 was such a disappointment...Personally, I know two people who've owned P38 and had issues with the Alpha Direct. Their experiences ranged from the material tearing outright to excessive pilling and even the material falling apart on its own. Not to mention the price....
  12. This is essentially the exact same design as the last Nike x Acronym Woven pants..... I actually have no words other than I'm shocked. Also, this looks nothing like DS to me..... more like WS?
  13. J115-GT is just throwing me off at this point, i’m shocked at this new jacket sling design choice in all honesty. The best part about the jacket sling is usually being able to decide if you want to wear it on the outside or inside of the jacket, or just not at all. Also i’ve always very much enjoyed the visual aesthetic of the jacket sling when positioned on the outside….this just seems unnecessary to me. Why change something that already works so well???
  14. J23 was cool in theory but the actual functionality of the escape zip down the back felt useless unless showing someone to impress them about the feature.
  15. I'm particularly intrigued by that insulator; it appears to be the J77A-AM? it's giving me vibes reminiscent of the J77-AM. I'm really enjoying the practicality of the snorkel zip hood feature, which happens to be one of my personal favorites on the J61-WS. Also, curious as to what that WR zipper is crossing over the left shoulder but I'm assuming its the new Jacket Sling design as seen on the J115. Only downside to this design imo is that you can't switch it around to the right side to accommodate left-handed users. Interestingly, I just received the J77-AM from Bodega for only $392, including shipping - big shoutout to Bodega for the low price. The AM fabric does feel somewhat itchier than I initially anticipated when I first took it out of the bag, but I'm hoping it will soften up over time. As for the shoulder pockets, they seem a bit redundant, especially with their zipper-less design. I wouldn't trust them with my Airpods like they were advertised in the product photos. Nevertheless, I do appreciate the unique flair they add to the shoulder design, almost evoking a medieval aesthetic. Another intriguing feature is the placement of the zipper tabs on the right side, which caught me by surprise, but I don't foresee any difficulty getting used to it. Also really enjoy how the hood is skin-tight almost like a balaclava when zipped all the way up. Overall, I'm satisfied with the design and for the price I plan to actually wear it and put it to good use vs. babying it.
  16. I never thought to look that closely at this video, good eye @Davidwyh1998 Not sure how i feel about the zipper/jacket sling concept and cringy reflective sleeve tho. I remember someone sharing fw23 leaks w/ me before and i must say. J115 is more attractive here in motion on Kitty than the product photos.
  17. I understand with GT not being an ideal fabric choice for pants. Ended up pulling the trigger on them telling myself they would be my go-to pants for snowboarding and also getting them for 60% off was the tipping point for me (Personally, now my favorite part of MiC and larger production quantities). But that aside, I must admit they have grown on me immensely. Right, the aggressive stacking when zipped up especially from the back is something I've never experienced from ACR let alone any other brand. I feel like zipped up is perfect for certain shoes with slimmer silhouettes, while unzipped works perfectly for bulkier shoes with how it drapes over the shoe reminding me of Balenciaga cargo pants. Pocket layout is phenomenal, especially with the 3D design of the hand pockets allowing for an insane carrying capacity + the interior phone pocket. The detached entry front pocket makes for a great place to store my card holder and mezzanine for anything I might need to keep handy. The trough openings are perfect for accessing whatever I might be wearing underneath them during my snowboarding trips, but equally convenient for ventilation when wearing them in warmer climates. While the two wr zippers running parallel with each other on both sides is just a very different and unique look I've grown quite fond of. Nothing really to dislike besides the poorly thought-out waistband. Would prefer something like a fidlock buckle instead imo.
  18. It is GT:/ But here’s hoping we get a DS version in the future. Yes, no P43 in fw23 or ss24 lineup unfortunately.
  19. I 100% agree with you that these look like p43-ds. Very easy to tell imo based on the stack not only from the front but especially from the back. I own the p43-gt and they look absolutely nothing like this in person. Maybe they are E but…… the first thing i thought after getting my pair was “Damn I really hope they make these in DS eventually”, so let’s hope and see. Also on a side note p43-gt have been my favorite pants from acr since ss19.
