LOL I sold a jacket and put it into bitcoin. doubly down. I figured it was the best way to keep that acr money going towards the cyberpunk dream :)

YOUCH. That double whammy. :( But you're right, we have to do our part for the cyberpunk dream :)

It would be nice if E made slightly more of each piece to hedge against raising prices this high. At this rate I can see the next gen J1A-GT at 2.2k at retail easily.

But strictly from a business perspective, if I could maximise profits and minimise my upfront capital, I definitely would. Especially if I run a small shop.

My man Errolson's slowly pricing out people who, in a very real sense, helped to make the brand what it is today.

I don't like the price hike either, but if the brand is slowly growing, so should the spending power of the people who helped make the brand what it is today? I mean, the only thing that seems to be going down in price nowadays is my investment in crypto.....

Putting the jackets aside for a moment, 368 euros for two 12x20cm zippered-pouches is straight up disrespectful in my opinion.

The amount of times I've added them to cart and closed the window when I see 300 euros after VAT......

Guys, don't let this restock distract you from the fact that Errolson was in a Porsche ad.

Clearly, all new Acronym products now carry the "VIP Luxury Fee"... their older products lacked that badge, hence why even the classically more expensive Gore-Tex variants were bargains compared to these new Acronym "Ballers-only" pieces.

It was only a matter of time before I gave in. 2018 is the year I turn into an amputee, maybe single kidney too.

    Porsche Design x Acronym when?

reminder for the people who want to perpetuate this rumor, here is a errolson's take on the vapormoc render. it was confirmed dumpster fire last october.

Maybe he's trying to say that its still a vapormoc but looks nothing like that? That render is just... ugly.

@RapGameTaylorSwift it's a great jacket! I'm glad you like it so much. It definitely was a sleeper hit compared to other pieces frequently spoken about. Although I personally wouldn't size up unless you're in between sizes. I'll let you know if there's bunching in the hood once I get home.

Yeah I was gonna say. I tried on my normal size (M) and found it to be pretty roomy. Should be able to get a few layers in under the J62 if you went tts.

FWIW the Bragi wireless earphones attach tightly to the forcelock and they are waterproof to boot. Is that enough to make anyone switch from airpods?

If only they weren't so expensive...

This is how I use forcelock on my J34 as well. I listen to music/podcasts/audio books pretty much constantly when I'm out and about and the function is great to have at any time I have to stop and talk to someone (leaving earbuds in looks really unpolite, even if you pause the music) such as when I'm grabbing a cup of coffee to go or picking up a package at the postal office. At those times, and especially afterwards when putting them back in, forcelock really feels like a luxury compared to putting the earbuds into a pocket or slinging them around the neck.

I get very paranoid with forcelock ever since I switched to airpods. It just feels like they're not secure enough.

Nevermind. It's hidden behind the hearts.

    Quick question regarding sizing.

    I am highly interested in purchasing either a J1A-GT or a J28-GT.

    First Acromym jacket purchase.

    My height is 178cm / 5’10” -5’11”

    Weight is 85kg / 187lb

Will be probably 80kg to 78kg over summer.

Chest size when taking a deep breath is 41 inches / 104cm

Chest size when relaxed is 39 inches / 99cm

I generally wear Rick Owens Mainline, and am 52 in flight jackets, leather bauhaus, intarsia etc. Large in rick owens t-shirts etc

I would most of the time be wearing the acronym jacket with either one layer a t shirt. Or 2 layers being a t shirt and a cotton or wool crewneck.

So what size should I go?

    Medium or Large?

Thanks to whoever reads this and can help, very much appreciated!

We are the same height and I am around 81kg. I went for a Medium and fits fine.

Do you think marketing-wise that is why ACR state that the fabric gets a 'patina'? As the textile itself is not very durable, prone to scratches and rips, so they would market it as a desirable thing. Though in my opinion decay is beautiful. I have not handled the film-out textiles from ACR before so I wouldn't be able to say first hand if they are delicate fabrics or not.

I don't think that's why ACR did that marketing-wise. I would like to think that E can afford to call a spade a spade. He simply does not have to resort to "marketing tactics" to sell.

Agree that decay is beautiful. Would love to pick up a j62-pb when I'm rich.

Thanks for the belt hack.  Left side stays tight but the right is loosey goosey.  After this, everything stays in place.

Okay so I’ve just gotten my p25h and mucked around with it a little.

Here’s what I’ve found - if you’re having issues with the “self-loosening”, try to push the excess fabric as close to the buckles as possible when tightening. This should prevent any loosening (I’ve tried jumping around and doing high kicks and my pants haven’t fallen off).

Assuming the same trick should work with p23a as it’s the same system.

    Hope this helps.

I have the ACG bomber from the last season (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Nike-Lab-ACG-Bomber-Men-s-Jacket-Medium-Black/246466290) and a J1A-GT (which should have the same system as the J56). While the zip at the neck is fully compatible, the tabs at the sleeves are not, although you can get it to work by using the gravity pocket tabs.

The ACG insulator from the year before is fully compatible.

This is good news because I initially wanted j58 for my J1TS but after finding out that the metamorphosis is compatible, my bank account feels like it can breathe again.

These DFA1 returns or small restock?

When I logged on about 6 hours ago I only saw US7's and US8's. Not sure if there were bigger sizes before that.

Does anyone still have the size table for the LA7-DS and could send it to me? Haven't been able to find it via the archive.
