    Yeah...

Wish I could say the same for Canadian customs. Most things (adult pants/jackets/shirts), despite the material, seem to generally get taxed 15% - 18%.

I hope someone can prove me wrong.

For my J1A-GT  I had to pay $300 something.. cant remember the excat amount, around $330, so its not TO bad!!!

I feel you on this. Especially with this last drop, I felt like I had no time to actually consider what I wanted to purchase. Gone are the days where I could open the website and atleast have some time to browse the collection, and choose the pieces that I wanted. Now it's like a mad scramble to purchase one or two items.

    Hype comes before the fall.

I feel you, Im new with Acronym brand, actually since last year, got 6 pieces and love everything about my jackets, brand, quality, etc... My problem is I need to check the measurments with new jacket models cause I barely fit in the XL, so this drop it was very hard to check quickly the sizing/measurements and click buy, greatfully i ended up buying what i wanted, but I didnt liked the stress, like qhen trying to buy Jordan 1's.....

It's probably a new fabric. Gore is known for the fact it coordinates/cooperates with retailers with fabric design/development beyond mere licensure. I really hope it isn't GT active (really not wear-resistant). The face almost looks like that matte dyneema or tyvek.

Hope so!!! We'll have to wait a few days then!!!

How different do they "feel"? Is the high density also noisy? How water resistant is it? How heavy? How structured?

Completely different... I have the J1 gabardine in raf green, i guess is the same as the TS, so here it goes:

Very diferent in many aspects. The high density is not noisy like the gt. In a way its like the material of a dockers, obviously more robust and better, but so you can imagine.

It is resistant , and i will keep you dry for a good period of time but not waterprof as the GT.

Heavy, dont have the weight but its heavier than the GT, it feels more robust....

    Hope this can help you!!!

Can anyone compare the high-density gabardine in the J1TS-S to Goretex pro in the J1A-GT?

What do you want to know? I got the TS today and the gt at home, how can i help you?

@jesterrp not a complete minority. Not interested in buying a shiny makeup bag. Now if we're talking a matte black ninja makeup bag...

Yeah hopefully they come out with a matte black version....

Looking at retail prices on retailers sites isn't going to tell you how much it'll be from acronym directly. Certain retailers have better prices than others. Take Forward for example:

    http://www.fwrd.com/mens-brand-acronym/a1392c/

They still have lots of stuff that's sold out elsewhere since they price their items outrageously. Hotoveli's prices are jacked up typically. End usually doesn't have that big of a markup.

Yeah forward its very expensive.. its a no no for me!

I say, sit back wait for tomorrow and enjoy the ride, you like, you buy? - Again, there is always another loadout approaching in 6 months.

    No panic buying for me.

J1TS-S actually looks pretty bad ass as is. Wouldn't even bother with mods, despite the intended use.

I was thinking the same... just use is as it is!!!
