    What's the lining feel like?

The texture gives it a unique feel. It feels much like the inside of a GT shell with added texture.

    Any review on J66-GT?

I know you're asking about J66-GT, but my J66-GTV just arrived this morning. Too soon for an in-depth review, but I can say that it's gorgeous in-person. The edges are already slightly fraying right out of the box. As expected, the reverse seams + intense color = brilliant showcase for the detailed geometric patterning.  I'm a "Smedium" and I ordered size S and I made the right decision. The pockets don't seem to have that ugly flare out like they do in some of the product pictures. There's just enough room for light layering, but it doesn't look boxy or oversized like it would have if went size M.

Things you can't tell from the lookbook on their website -

    • The primary zip is actually an EscapeZip.
    • The shade of volt matches the heel of the AVM-007
    • Weight-wise it falls right in between GT Pro and WS
    • As with the J1A-GTV, there are no internal jacketsling loops

Just for conversational purposes, what are peoples opinions on the raw / frayed edges of the J66?

Somehow this detail (in addition to how the seams are sewn) is what put me over the edge in buying it. I can't explain why either. I think I just really like the aesthetic.

^ these were the pants from the Ghost in the Shell auction. Couldn't tell they were size L from the auction pics otherwise I wouldn't have bought them. I am listing them as 7/10 due to the patina on the Stotz, otherwise they are in great shape. Comes with a military style belt which was also part of the costume. I'm not trying to make any profit here. This is what I paid for the auction.

I think the description nails it completely.  Light, fast, transitional.  It's thin thin and optimal for small EDC items.  Overall, very happy with it.

Sorry if that's too short but those are just first impressions.  I'll try to post something more comprehensive after a few weeks of testing.

As far as tariffs go, I'm pretty sure they tacked 6110.30.3010 @ 32% when it should be closer to 6110.90.9023 @ 6% for the S21-DS.  I've started the process and have until the 25th to get this reviewed for a refund, as per the UPS agent.  I'll keep all my broke boi's posted!

I was able to use 6201.93.47 for the S21-DS and duties dropped from around $290 to around $70.

Those 56 hand pockets make no sense to me...just the way your hands have to go over the serrated zip :-/

Try wearing P26! Same deal except more brutal zips.

  10. P26 came in yesterday and I'll share my initial reactions to it.

This thing is more fun than functional. There is very little utility here. The exposed wide shiny zippers and elastic cuff are what this pant is all about and you're either on board or you're not. Not gonna lie, the pocket situation is abysmal. There are no back pockets. Strike one. The front pockets are actually usable until you realize that if there's something in them, the bulk in the pocket makes it difficult to access the phone pocket under the detached pocket flap. Strike two. In addition to the phone pocket woes, the exposed shiny metal zipper makes putting your hand in your pocket a dangerous activity if you're not too careful. The teeth of the zipper can be abrasive. Use caution. Strike three.

Despite the pants striking out as a utilitarian garment, I still love the way they look, fit, and feel. They are unexpectedly baggy and move quite well considering there's no articulation. I will be keeping them because I bought them for the shiny zippers and not for their utility.

Anyone wash PB yet? It’s probably the usual thing where I'm being blind but don’t recall a care tag on my 63.

Haven't had to wash my 63 yet but my 62 probably could use a wash. The care tag instructions are harrowing (care tag on 63 hidden behind one of the holster pockets). Machine wash 40 degrees and apparently these beautiful and fragile garments are supposed to be tumble dried? Not even "Tumble dry low". Just straight "Tumble dry". My guess is that heat doesn't really mess with the fabric and my experience tells me that if you let water droplets air dry on the face fabric, little faint circular marks are left behind. At least that's been my experience after wearing it in rain. I'm assuming tumble drying it prevents those dried water marks.

    inb4 just shake dry.

Will report back after I bite the bullet and wash one of these beauties.

The NG4 ain't coming out again man, forget about it.

    again?

When did they release NG4? I recall a similar looking NG3, but I'm not sure the NG4 ever had an official release.

Has it been confirmed somewhere that they're doing just the bags and modulars?

I don’t think it’s been confirmed yet, but I’m all for it if it means FW18 will be filled with fresh designs.

Plus I’m assuming everyone’s wallet needs a break.

Then again I doubt a season devoted to bags and modulars will give wallets a break.

where was the ng4? makes no sense to be in the video otherwise

This is just how it goes, unfortunately. How many J64TS-S jackets were sold? Quite a few. How many modulars were released to go with those? Zero. They frequently tease future accessories, which is both exciting and frustrating. Mostly frustrating though.

I may be in the minority, but I’m not exactly thrilled with this season. Tons of jackets, but no actual new designs other than the two new liners. And the liners weren’t my cup of tea. The flagship GT and S jackets were all rehashed designs.

I’m more impressed with the pant releases this season, which were also mostly rehashed designs besides the polarizing P26 and the P23A to some extent.

Maybe taking SS18 off from garments and doing a “bag & modular” season is just the thing E needs to get some fresh new designs cooking.
