  1. Seamen pants came up really big - I'd definitely suggest considering sizing down to anyone that's curious. I'm not sure whether I should exchange them or just return them at the moment. Shipping back to Japan will be a nuisance.

  2. What brand make a type 2 that fits like an Lvc type 2? Short body long sleeve

I'm also looking for a short type II after releasing that the TCB 50s will be way too long for me. Judging by the measurements, the Burgus Plus type II is pretty short (and much cheaper than an LVC).

  3. The Seamen pants arrived at work this morning. Can't wait to take a closer look at home. Any chance you could provide a sleeve measurement as well, goodrain? I've also had my eye on the Ranchman for a little while. I'm guessing I'd need a 42 at the least, judging by the chest measurements.

  4. Bit the bullet and bought the Seamen pants - pictures to follow. I'm thinking I might have to pick up a 50s jacket after summer.

  5. Cool, I've been concerned about the possibility of them stretching a lot but I'd rather they were slightly too big than too small. I'll think about it some more.

  6. Thanks, Volvo. I know it will be a while yet but I'm just impatient/excited. I'll be very interested in the contest when/if it arises.

You can buy surplus army suspenders on eBay pretty cheap, and I'd assume they're pretty well made too. The LVC suspenders have very stiff leather and feel pretty substantial but are quite expensive. I'll check the Filson store next time I'm in London as they also look good.

I managed to score a TCB duck vest on eBay really cheap a couple of months ago. Any idea on how much they shrink after a wash? I'll post some photos once it has a bit more wear.

  7. Eagerly awaiting more info on the 20s jeans. I might have held off on buying my Full Count 1910 pair had that Instagram post gone up a bit sooner.

  8. Selling my Full Count 1101XX because they're too small for me. 15.5oz, worn on and off for two months. Some signs of wear but next to no loss of indigo. One soak, no washes. Measurements as follows:

    Waist - 18"
    Front Rise - 12"

    Thigh - 13"
    Hem - 8.5"

Bought for £250 new from SOAS. Sellng for £155 posted in the UK, but I'm open to reasonable offers. I'll ship anywhere, just shoot me a message. Apologies for the iPhone photos. The first and third photos are most reflective of the actual colour:

  9. My 1955S after three months of wear. It's a real shame that IH aren't releasing any more versions of this cut as I'd love to have some in a lighter weight/different fabric. Great big thigh jeans.
