interesting thoughts! Because while i was shopping around and reading reviews for a denim jacket, i found the TCB 50s to be more price competitive compared to all of our other beloved japanese denim brands (in regards to denim jackets) while also being a brand that delivers good quality. (plus volvo's wear just blew my mind, this board definitely has it's influences on consumers)

The fact that this is my first denim jacket, I've decided to save some of my benjies for other signature raw denim later down the year. 

Anyone wear or seen Skull jeans these days?

I just bought a pair of 0306v tight taper W36, and they come at 37" on the waist. 

It was tight (but not unbearable) until the 4th or 5th wear. It now fits my waistline perfectly.

From what i just measured, i am at 38.5". So I would say my momotaros have stretched a good inch from 37" to 38". So yes for me they did stretch!

Off topic, Today's my 15th day of wear, and We can see fades happening already!

Max, I'm not up to your level yet. one must reach sharp fades before accepting subtle fades

Having trouble getting fades on my 21oz IHs... bought these 2 years ago but with actual wear time 1 year. 1x soak, 4 washes. They're my most comfortable winter jeans since they're thick and baggy for me. Would like a bit more honeycomb tho!

Just got my made to order Imperials from Sagara. Looks fresh with my new momotaros. Can't wait for these to be worn in

my trusty RW moc toe 1907 (in need of a re-sole) 2 years of actual wear time. (and those photo bombing flipflops)

Bought my IH from Self Edge April 2015.

Currently into my 4-5th month of "wear time", still going strong! Lots of indigo in it!

next to for fade comparison is my APC jeans (currently 2.5yrs + 3 washes)

I came across Imperial x Self Edge at Self Edge NY store last week. 16Oz, thick weaving. Allowing air to pass through.

I think anywhere between 15-18oz should be bearable for hot dry summer.
