  1. What creative direction to you think Acronym is headed? I think they can be more ballsy as they'll always have those classics that people will definitely buy as well

  2. Thanks for the analysis. I see your points, entirely. I'm merely thinking through a techwear point of view, having a HUD on your eye wear could be pretty sweet and suiting to the aesthetic.

There are a few neat little features like GPS and maps; text, call and social media notifications that I think could prove useful. All this as well as functioning as, you know, glasses.

  3. I recently funded a Kickstarter campaign for the 'Minaal' bag. This being their second successful funding, where they released two new bags, The Carry-on 2.0 and the Daily. I actually heard about it through a blog called Zenhabits, where the writer had been testing a prototype and I really liked the look of it. It's got a ton of features, but my favourite is probably the straps which can be unclipped and tucked away in to the back rest, allowing it to be carried almost briefcase style. I've used this a couple of times when commuting to work. It's not impervious to rain, but comes with a really nice quality rain cover, which tucks down really small, and it has a lot of interior pockets, Nylon water bottle carrier, and even (wait for it...) a whistle built into one of the straps. It's got a really secure velcro-ed area for Laptops, my 13" Macbook Air fits really snug.

  4. Hey. New here and just getting into ACR.

I picked up a J25-WS (Large) and absolutely love it. Now I want a more substantial Acronym jacket and am looking at the J47-GT, J43-GT, J32-GT, etc (the simpler short jackets).

However, the local shop has limited stock and sizes to try on, and size info online seems inconsistent and hard to compare to my current jackets. (i.e. Haven vs End vs Acronym website list different measurements for 1/2 chest).

If I'm a L in the J25-WS, would it be safe to assume an L in the other jackets is likely the best bet? The measurements make it look like I could be an M or and L, but it's hard to tell.

    Thanks for any tips!

Hey man, I bought a Large J47-GT from Grained, was my first piece.i also own the J25-WS. The J47 Fits perfectly well with an average thickness hoodie underneath for me,and like you the J25-WS fits great too!

  5. Anyone who received shipping confirmation yesterday from Acronym may want to check their Ups tracking. My package is currently held up in Berlin due to operating conditions

  6. Returns drop back in april ?? When in april? Could be great, I'll finally have some cash to spend at this time ahah

I have no idea mate, I'm just praying hahah

  7. Got such a passion for the Metal Gear Franchise. MGS2 was hated (mostly because of Raiden and the crazy ending) but I loved it. I European Extremed that shit. I love how the timeline jumps around between each iteration too. I still really enjoy MGSV, I left it for a few months and came back to it and I'm gonna try getting my 72% completion up a little now it's kinda fresh again. Could never get into the FOB shit though.

  8. So i went with the J25-WS in the end. I don't think I have the confidence to pull off something like the P10-DS yet, and I'm unsure whether the Large would be too big for the trousers.

If they have some returns in April, I'll get them when I get paid :D
