  1. I knew they were good but all of the praise is putting my ego through the roof!

can we talk about the dedication the the 20's aesthetic? buying a washboard just to wash your jeans that's impressively extra. too much for me but i respect that

I've been wearing my tcb's for a couple weeks doing grounds keeping work and other maintenance stuff for a local school division. I gave them a machine wash and left them outside to dry. they're soft with a lot of texture and a dry feel. A little peeved with how slow they're fading but that's the journey.

  3. i've moved back to my parents house for the summer. they're doing renovation's right now so i'm literally living out of a suitcase in their basement. The whole situation has made creating outfits a pain so I've been on hiatus. Got a Job working as a groundskeeper for a local school division so i'll be wearing my 20's for that stuff, excited to see how that effects them

I think that Reddit’s format is perfect for lurkers and some topics, like technology, where things are constantly changing and there’s a lot of new news.

I think it’s horrible for raw denim. Any information that could’ve been useful gets buried with each new post, meaning you see the same things pop up over and over and over again.

Also, Reddit’s format in general just seems very impersonal. Maybe it’s because the site is so huge but if you make a comment it seems like almost no one will read it, whereas with superfuture people are forced to read your drivel! Again, I think it works well for lurkers though when you sort by top rated comments or whatever.

    1. 1101 and 1108 are offered in 15.5oz and 13.7oz, what are factors to consider when deciding between oz (weight)? look, feel, fades, fall, etc. Which one is better, as per my understanding heavier oz is better coz it makes difference with low end jeans in the market also result is more noticeable fades, please respond

    2. I used to wear Levi's 501 want to buy Full Count now,  which model you prefer the most either 1101 or 1108? Please give your input.

Thanks in advance for your input

i currently own the 15oz 1108 and if i was going to buy new jeans i would choose 13oz 1101 over any other combination. heavy doesn't mean better, just different. i've grown to love light weight denim and loose thighs if jeans aren't easy to wear why buy them? at the same time i do appreciate my 150z 1108. i find the slim straight cut to be exactly what i want for certain outfits. The heavy oz denim i would describe as comfortable like a heavy blanket on a cold day but not the best for movement.

  6. Nuked them in the washing machine in my dorm hot wash for 30mins and a very hot dry for 1hr

  7. yo... I've been busy with school, then SuFu broke for me, so i'm finally getting around to uploading these. I got the jeans on the morning of the 14th so i immediately put them on and wore them to school for the day. The denim was initially way more dark and grey, with a very stiff texture. very crunchy. Aftter the soak the colour lightened up the the deep blue i remembered. I washed on hot with a very hot dry cycle for an hour. i think i got all the shrink out of them right off the bat. After the soak the denim was like crumpled paper. the denim had a crazy amount of texture, i was a little concerned i overdid it with the extra hot dry but it calmed down in a couple wears. Super happy the jeans are back i was missing them quite a bit. I'm not too peeved about the pockets, except they kind of feel smaller than the old ones, maybe i'm crazy... I don't have my measurements right now, i noted them down but i forgot them at my place(writing this at a friends house). I tried to cuff the pants to the same length so you could see how much they shrunk.

an interesting little irregularity, i think it was just caused by the denim being folded. It mostly disappeared after the wash.

As far as jeans go, the pairs of 3Sixteens I've worn have held up better than anything else. I think that a lot of that is due to the poly/cotton thread, sanforized fabrics, and washing every 2-3 months on average.

why would do you think sanforized fabrics be more durable? only reason i could think would be more regular fabric or less stress on the stitching caused by shrinking un-sanforized fabrics
