  1. That's good going , the last time I was in the chair it was about ten hours and I was well and truly over the experience , the last hour felt like every stroke felt like skin ripping from my flesh .

  2. got some dots and lines by alvaro flores in melb:

planning to turn this whole arm into a blackwork sleeve by works from jondix, gerhard, anna day, kenji and others when/if i get a chance.

At first glance some tattoos look quite simple but you miss the detail involved , very nice work and I bet you sat in the chair for about four hours on this one .
  3. I'm not going to argue with anyone on their opinion nor will I argue against what iv said " it's only my opinion .

However I'll leave you with this thought " You have saved all you're life for a Ferrari put the deposit down but in the time it takes for yours to get built they commission the process out to Hyundai and it's going to be a Korean delivery .

Do you still want it ?

Is it still a Ferrari ?

  4. Anyone bought a pair of new MIJ models?

Not familier with the weird guy fit but the details look cool.NF_MIJ_IG3.jpg

Love the colour and especially like the maple leaf detail however I'd like to know what makes them N&F if they are not made in their Canadian store other than the cut , maybe the patch is sent across .

There is only one retail outlet in my city and they have only ever had the one cut and three pair when iv gone in to try some on so I'm frazzled by the cut names . One day I'll invest in a pair but it will have to wait till I vacation in the North America or Canada , anyway Iv committed myself to a two year commitment to what I have now so at least I have a two year grace period .

  5. Communication is the biggest issue they need to deal with .

In my first email to them after I was sent a sizing form I asked if they could do a 20oz+ so I could use it in the upcoming Heavyweight comp but allas it was one of many that went unanswered .

As for sizing my jeans were spot on , I purchased two pair , the jacket as it turns out was a prêt-à-porter that fits well , I would have liked a more snug fit but it's not worth if for me to return as the mail kills it for me , I guess that is what has scared me from getting any other brands even if they do have a great return policy the mail postage price to change something can double the price of the initial purchase .

For the price point I'll dost likely purchase from them again but I won't wait until I'm desperate for clothes , I'll make sure to give them a few months grace .

  6. Max , just pull that top shelf out and reposition the hanger rail close to the top , the stuff on that top shelf can now sit on the bottom , just saved you $200 bucks on hangers so you can justify a new purchase of jeans now .

You can thank me later .

  7. Lawless do womens jeans not sure about Gustin but iv had thought that a company that boasts that them make fit to measure jeans it wouldn't matter , you're not going to want to get anything that is tight as they won't fit in a years time if she intends to do the full two years so my thought would be to get a more boyish cut anyway that she can grow into , she will be what 15 towards the end of the comp ,by then they will be darn tight fitting and that's about when young girls like tight fitting jeans .

Good luck , it won't be an easy decision whatever you end up buying .

  8. To bad you left it so late , you could have gotten something made from Gustin or Lawless at under $100 bucks . I guess you still could but she would not be starting from day one .

  9. Ybarra valley have a few , most of the places that have a cellar door with a restaurant attached will do functions . Iv not eaten at any for a good decade . I like the ones on the morning perninsular Red Hill to be exact but I'm biased as I live down that way .

  10. I was under the impression that i could enter the tux division as well as the middle weight? for just the jeans, due to the requirements of the tux, missing more than one update etc... can i not compete in two divisions? i was lead to believe some people were competing in more than one jean weight division with more than one pair

edit, if that is the case i will just compete in the tux, i looked over the WDC page and i didnt see a specification for the tux that its the only one you can enter so im not sure

In my opinion it's not a sportsmanship move , it's like you are trying to cover your bases for a win . The previous talk about rotating jeans sounds fine if you have registered them individually in its class but you have your work cut out for you I guess as you have to work twice as hard to achieve the required fades .

Sorry if iv ruffled anyone's feathers but I thought that this time around the rules would not be as blurred as last time .

  11. Hey Max,

    Can you update me #19

Im in with Flat Head 3009, hot soaked so im going to be in the middle weight with a post soak of 16.5oz.

I'm also in the tux contest with my momotaro 2105sp jacket.

The flat heads are soaked with no wears, so i still need to get the first couple wears in. The momotaro jacket has 14 wears on it now. I still need to do the first post on the DWC forum

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you enter the tux devision wouldn't the jeans and jacket make up the tux component , so why are you in middleweight for jeans ?
