My feedback: Save your cash for something else.
Saving some cash for Acrnm pants , Large

Any feedback on these ? :
adidas gsg9 tr - Core Black
Would like a confirmation that the first price was around 225 € (according to some websites)
if so they can be found at 75% reduction in some french websites...
And Gsg9 probably means technical conception...

Got the opportunity recently to test FREKA Facewear while in Shanghai for a Conference:
image gratuite à téléchargerWill publish a techwear 2015/2016 review soon on the New Artemis : http://thenewartemis.com/
I also had the opportunity to test a nice goretex pro pants from Carinthia http://www.military-sleeping-bags.com/prg-professional-rain-garments/
I doubt that anybody here will be interested by the Hardshell, but the troursers are worth a look
btw, you can follow me on tmblr too : http://ace4.International

So winter's almost here...what are people doing for footwear for rain?
I'm sticking to norwegian GTX Sneakers from Viking Footwear : http://www.vikingfootwear.com/en/mens/active-outdoor/impulse-m#5

I was going to say this is impractical for a suica card but I remembered you would just tap your arm on the reader.
that's the reason why I love my acrnm GT J34 when taking the subway in Paris....

Epic just plain sucks. Schoeller is definitely on to something with their shape series. Cotton/nylon blends are the way to go to balance handfeel, dry time and abrasion resistance. Don't expect miracles from anything that has a certain cotton content.
Roger that...

I've yet to see convincing tech jeans. Outlier's offering is not particularily water resistant but won't pass for actual jeans either. The thunderbolt ones are cut like dad jeans. I really like the schoeller shape material used in the acrnm p14s as it comes very close to denim in hand and texture, and has decent repellency, but i've not seen it in a jeans cut yet.
thanks for the advices . acrnm p14s looks pretty cool indeed. it's nice to have some feedback about the texture though. Still looking for the true All Condition Graal denim with a touch and feel of a denim...

Hey this is a really broad question but can someone throw suggestions for techwear-ish shoes that are still available? Just looking to replace a pair of sneakers.
Check my previous post about Viking Footwear sneakers... very good quality brand, and the Norwegian know few things about techwear sneakers...

Enjoy
Actually very happy with the Y-3 Boxing Classic II , which I find more low key. Yet pretty awesome... I like some of the Qasa but find them like a bit huge sometimes

Anyone have any recommendations for bicycle helmets? SF Cycling threads seem to be a bunch of imgur content showing off rides or 4+ year old threads talking about old helmets.
I've tested this one in 2014 while in the arctic :
it's an amazing concept, might be interesting for urban commuter. I said artic but it's not a particularly warm helmet, I was wearing a balaclava underneath . the light system works pretty well...

What socks do you guys wear in the summer? Outlier merino is fine and good until I start seriously sweating - it would be nice to have some short, light socks as well.

Hey, I'm looking for a replacement for my Mountain Hardwear down fill jacket.
I want something slim with no to discrete logos, no hood, and light. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.
You might have a look here : http://www.pyrenex.com/en/sport-46.html
