If we had stopped there, the Maharishi Tactical would already be a boot made for serious business. We took the extra step of incorporating the Swiss-made Schoeller™ Dynatec material, a hardwearing material able to endure the harshest of conditions. Along with its extreme durability, the fabric uses a special reflective thread combined with a complex weave, providing superior durability and extensive protection in poor visibility conditions. When light shines on the Schoeller paneling, millions of tiny glass beads work to reflect the light back – this retro reflection enables the fabric to be seen for up to 100 meters away at all times of day.

that is true, but that is the same for GT jackets isn't it ? - unless most folks just wear them indoors and by the look of it most do, having seen photos mostly of them standing in front of mirrors - bless 'em !!!

Guys! Our prayers have been answered (maybe).
These are apparently on kickstarter now: ODO, jeans with properties similar to Outliers, except that they actually look like jeans.
I mainly wear black or light wash denim though so I'll probably have to wait until they release some limited runs or something. Still, the technology behind this, utilizing silver fibers in the denim weave, looks really interesting.
I've been approached to test something quite similar... those ones look interesting too ...
