I love the fit and I'm not sure whether to soak them or not. I'm not going for 'sick fades' and I don't want them to be uncomfortably tight.

My SR8s arrived today, just picked them up from my dad's. It's the most beautiful denim I've ever worn.

As long as it doesn't become another dog!

Thanks. I turned my PBJs inside out, but then they were unsanforized and I soaked them for a good hour.

I really can't wait for my Cobras to arrive. I've never had a pair of Ande Whalls before.

20 minutes in water is enough. make the water the same temp as what you may end up washing them in and that'll be enough - then wear 'em

Would you still turn them inside out for such a short soak?

Right, I've seen the light and realised I could do with getting my 005s hemmed, but I'm wondering if there are any specific instructions I should give the tailor. And does it make a difference that they've been soaked?

Thanks, but I like the scruffy look of them as they are. I'll stick rather than twist for now.

Just popping in here to thank Rivet & Hide for their service and the Pure Blue Japan 005s they sent me this week. Ordered Sunday, arrived Tuesday,free delivery to boot. I'll definitely be back.

Possibly, I can't remember. It says Gazelle on the back of the heels.

Well. Fit looks good, given the fact they will shrink some more after a spin in the washing machine. They could use a serious hem though...

Thanks. Yeah, I'm not sure what to do about the length. I've only turned them up twice and not by much each time, so I might try a bigger turn-up and see how that looks. I like stacking and don't want to lose that, but there probably is too much at the moment.

Hi, I'm a newbie here and a big fan of Japanese denim. I've had a pair of Hiuts for almost a year and on Tuesday I took delivery of a pair of 005s. I wore them for the first time post-soak yesterday and took some photos; I'd love to post them here, but I'm having real trouble doing so. Can anyone help?
