One other thing to say is that they were much more 'blue' than I was expecting - I'd never bought one-wash jeans before - but I actually like that. It makes a change.

I'm a 29" waist and I bought a pair of 28", one wash. They've already started to loosen up a bit. It is beautiful denim.

My one-wash 800s arrived the other day. I have a new favourite pair of jeans!

Hi, yes, I meant the S5000VX. Thanks for your help.

Thanks. I think I'll go for a 28, which should be the best of both worlds.
Thanks again for the advice.

Hi folks. I'm looking at buying a pair of S500VX. I'm a 29" waist and would like a 32" inseam after washing / soaking. Do I go true to size and have them hemmed to a 34" before I introduce them to water?

That's a cracking pair of jeans. Burgus Plus is definitely on my list!

If I buy a pair of one-wash unsanforised jeans, should I still give them a soak / wash myself to get rid of all the shrinkage?

Never mind - I've ordered a one-wash pair of 800s, size 28 so I'll have sized down 1 / 2.

Sorry, see previous post.

Hi, could anyone with experience of Warehouse 660s give me some advice on sizing and the like? I'm looking to get a pair of Warehouse but I'm quite slim and don't want too much spare denim flapping around my thighs. I'm a 29-30" waist.
Thanks in advance.

I ordered a pair of SD-103s last week from Denimio (superb service) and they arrived on Monday. I gave them an hour's hot soak and they barely shrank at all; once they were dry I turned them inside out and put them on a 40-degree wash with no spin, which did the trick. They're the loosest / baggiest of my slim-straight jeans, but it's good to have a bit of variety and the quality is superb.

Thanks, Chewie. It's no big deal really and like I said, a belt does the trick. I just hope they don't stretch much more!

Quick question about the Iron Heart 555-01s: would a soak make much difference in the waist? I haven't worn them all that often and when I put them on this morning I noticed they were a little loose compared to my other jeans - nothing a belt doesn't fix, but they'll only stretch further unless I soak them, right? I haven't done anything to them yet in terms of soaking / washing.

This has probably been answered here already, but I'm a lazy so-and-so and can't be bothered to read every post: is there anything that can be done about hip flare? I get it to varying degrees on all my jeans and it doesn't bother me that much, but if there's a way of stopping it happening, I'd like to know.

Thanks for the advice, folks.

(Even down to the rivets having T F H on them.)

I'm glad you said that, Cold Mountain. I'm almost certain these aren't knock-offs because everything else about them is spot on.

I really don't know if I'm imagining things. They'd be softer than pre-soak PBJ 005s, wouldn't they?

Quick question: how soft is the denim on new pre-soak F310s? I ask because I've just got a pair and they feel almost suspiciously soft for unsanforised denim.

A cack-handed attempt at showing the fading on the coin pocket of my 005s. I've had them a month:

I did soak them in the end. They shrank a bit, but they've stretched back out nicely (there's probably a bit of stretching left to come). The denim still feels amazing.

I'm selling my 103s if anyone's interested. The denim's incredible but they're just too flappy in the thigh for me.
