The SDA 15oz fabric is great, love my 107. Nemo, post soak fit looks good to me mate.

Yeah, overall fit looks nice. Dig it myself. Problem for me is a too short rise and too much denim around the ass and thigh area. It's called diaper ass, right?

Gonna put some more days into the pair and then decide. Keep or trying to sell..

i thought about sizing up to a 32, but this really wouldn't solve the matter as the waist "grows" much more than the rises - which i have trouble with.

 

denim is super hairy btw... not especially long hair, more like a short fur!

yeah, that's what i am afraid of. the denim is really tight woven and feels totally stubborn..

so, here is my sd-101. got it raw, shrank it through washing twice. i could make real good use of a bit more front & back rise, pre soak was pretty awesome. post soak not so much. so i hope for some stretch. waist is snug but okay! will write more about the jeans itself when i am positive on the fit!

thing is, i am still pretty stoked on what brands such as iron heart, samurai, the fleat  head ;-) do... i know they're big and successful, but they really deserve it, and they are really pushing it!

 

for their latest UHFs iron heart sourced its cotton from peru, where it grew on trees, no chemics, farmed only once a year by hand, haraki san is seriously into sourcing only the best there is!

 

the flat head is producing their hawaii shirts in the same place where the japanese emperor gets his clothes woven & sewn...

 

last year samurai sold jeans consisting of cotton that entirely grew in japan, wtf?

 

 

and that is only one minor example for each brand, there is tons to add!

considering only the price i paid for these, they damn sure are the best jeans i will ever get.

i mostly like what Inoue-san is doing, especially his USN seamans jacket! like, not love, adore or whatever.

 

that said, i do absolutely not get the "hype" - although folk as him deserve the support anyway!
