  2. hi guys ~ i would like to get a pair of full count 0105 (one washed version) but im not too sure about which size to get.

i wear size 36 for TCB 50s, Sugar cane 1947 and Warehouse 1001 banner.

Shall i also get a 36 for full count 0105?

    Thanks a lot ~

That's a pretty definitive selection I think. I reckon the 1915 fabric is distinctly superior to the 1933. The 44, 55 and 66 are all really nice.

I got a msj from a SuFu luminary asking about the three pleat (check it out on the TCB 20s thread, it seems to have become a uniform).

Given that this might be the last chance for folks to buy one I though I'd share pix and dimensions. Mine is a medium, summer 2016 production so probably what they're still selling.  Armpit to armpit is exactly 20 1/2 inches after (I think) a warm soak that gave very little shrinkage.

I do love the shade; distinctly greener, and less black, than any other LVC, with a very open weave. I think if you buy this jacket, you should kinda do so on the basis that you expect it never to show wear, really! This is a very, very different jacket from 50s and 60s stuff. I especially love the tight, crisp edges on the cuffs, the incredibly short stitch length and the dull, muted colour of the stitching. It's very much a blouson; like a heavy shirt more than a jacket.

[edit: sorry Bartleby for replicating your post, I hadn't seen it! You're right, the buttons are a complete pain, I had to restitch almost every single one... in fact i tried one on in the Paris store, a button pinged off the cuff and rolled off along the floor, after which I had to leave in especially furtive fashion. ]

Got myself SDA's homage to the Lee storm rider jacket. The usual amazing quality you would expect of SDA. Look at that cosy blanket lining! ^_^

Admittedly not today, but fairly recent:Photo%2007-04-2017,%2008%2012%2040%20(1)TCB messenger bag

    Alden 403

nice jeans and superb fit ! may i ask how you purchased them? Thanks a lot !

  6. The difference on both those sweats it how the arms are connected. Basically the 401 has the arms stitched on two regular arm holes. the 403 has a "freedom gusset", an extra few inches of fabric cut in a triangular pattern under the sleeve that is suppossed to provide greater range of movement. Otherwise body and fabric are the same. The gusset doesn't necceassirly make a huge difference but is one of those neat little details found on some vintage sweats

thanks for the info. and i guess the sizing should be the same right ?

  7. 90 cm pre or post wash?  34 if pre wash, 36 if post.  Do you have any other WH jeans, and if so what size and model?

i have a pair of WH 1001 banner (size 36, one washed version) I find them a bit loose in the waist but the im satisfied with the overall fit

  8. Their 1000 is the export model. Has the differences you mentioned from the Japanese model plus an offset belt loop.

The 1000XX is an older model.

What are you looking for, and which are you considering buying?

i consider buying the one in warehouse official website, shall i follow the size chart on the BiG website ?

  9. They should be very similar.  The one at BiG is from 2011, and should be a little different in details (like thread color).  If they fit, I'd buy 'em. I can't believe at $140, there'd be any sizes left.

thx for ur input! are they similar in sizing as well (given that the cut should be the same)?
