  1. I gave the Aesop exfoliator a try for the past few days (using two small samples the woman gave me) and was actually extremely happy with how it worked (skin fells very soft). I'm a bit shaky on spending 35 pounds on the full tube though.

Can anyone weigh in on whether or not it's actually worth it or if I am paying for packaging and there are better, cheaper exfoliators (maybe chemical) on the market? I'm trying to fade scaring and I'm looking for the best product(s) to do so.

I've heard good things about Clinique and Paula's Choice and may just end up giving one of those a try.

  2. I tried that shirt on. I usually wear an M but always size up to larges, like I did here. Large shirts usually fit quite loose on me and are longer in length but this one, following the normal fit of SLP, was still pretty cropped. The sleeves were pretty short and like I said, the length as well, but it didn't feel uncomfortably small on me. Here is a picture for reference:

That all said, the material was soft, you could feel a well sewn seam where the two pieces of fabric were connected and it did follow the cropped look that you would expect (if that's what you want).

  3. any suggestions for fragrance for the upcoming colder seasons?  i really like wonderwood but it doesn't last on me last time i tried

Same issue. Love the smell but the smell doesn't stick around for more than a few (3-4) hours. Disappointing, really.

  4. I honestly just don't use anything. No baking soda, conditioner, vinegar. Nothing. Just water. I apply water based products every morning after my showers and sleep with the product in. I never shower at night, only AM and like I said, just keep my head under the water for a while. When under, I scrub well and push my hair back over and over to try and rinse product out. I can tell my hair is nice and light when I get out and that there isn't anything really left behind, even though I just used the shower water.

Even though you said on some days you sweat more than others, you probably could just get away with a thorough scrubbing of your hair and scalp while rinsing.

  5. Well, first, stop touching it all day or it will keep getting screwed up.

I'd say the Railcar pomade would be ok for you. I use it occasionally and the hold is really good, but the shine (at least for me) is more of a matte to nice shine in the sunlight.
