  1. He can make his clothes wherever he wants because it’s his brand. And you can buy other brands which are made in eu because it’s your money.

And to those who think Acronym needs to inform the consumers of the change in advance, you know that you have the right to return the jacket, right?

Can we just leave it here now and come back to products?

  2. While made in China can be shitty quality, they can be top-notch quality as well if you do it right.

I remember when I was into in-ear headphones, made in China Westone earbuds are significantly better than made in USA models.

It's just that every country has good factories and bad factories. Like human, no one is perfect.

And this year's J1A-GT is less expensive than last year's J1A-GTPL.

So I am happy to embrace the change.

cotton club has bigger markups on other bambas, so let's see how much they pop-up for. ANYONE SEEN THE MID-BAMBA2 IN ALL WHITE? (they are on the site but I have not seen them anywhere for sale)

    sneakerboy

    on sale as well

edit: just checked, they somehow disappeared. They were in last chance section asking for about 200 usd with a full size run, maybe try to message them if they still got the shoes.

sorry for being that guy, but what was the final verdict regarding the new presto sizing? im pretty much exactly a US 11.5 so dunno whether to take a 11 or a 12.

  5. We people at sufu knew the existence of J47TS-GT long before the collection launched, and it turned out just fine.

Not to blame anyone, to each their own. But as an ordinary guy who doesn’t have access to subnet, I wish that I can preview the new stuffs simply because I am interested and it might be beneficial to me. I can take my time to decide which item I really want, as mentioned before.

  6. To all the guys who have access to subnet:

I beg you to be my friend, just let me take a look. E would not know about it.

Speaking of which, I use the Grangers 2 in 1 wash liquid for my GT pieces. But the result is not really good. The jacket doesn't bead water well after the drying.

Did you tumble dry after the wash?

Would only the spray work, not wash in dwr?

I can’t say about that. Since they recommend only spray, I would not use wash in products to try my luck.

have a range of pants (stotz, dryskin, ch microtwill), and one blanket question for these materials...
i like keeping my pants clean so i wash (!!!) them once every few months. DS seems to keep repellency fairly decently, but CH and S do not.
is there a way of "reactivating" the water repellence of these materials? does DWR spray work on these fabrics the same way it works no goretex?
so many questions, so little time actually spent walking in the rain in my expensive pants

Guys from Stotz said that you could use the Nikwax spray for cottons.

For CH pants, it seems that we have not talked about it before.

It runs huge, you should go down 2 sizes of your regular SISP sizing. I had the stealth parka in M, and it was still too big for my taste. Fit around the shoulders and chest was ok but the jacket billows out towards the bottom so the side-on silhouette is wack. For reference, for regular SI and SISP I wear an XL, am 83kg 178cm and muscular with wide shoulders, chest and ass. Wear a Medium in Acronym for regular fit, Large for profile fit. Measurement wise, anything below a roughly 60cm across chest measurement is tight (wearable, but slightly restrictive).

It's a super cool jacket though, returned it cause of the fit but if you can get one and you like the fit definetely worth keeping.

Really appreciate the detailed reponse man, I am about 181cm and 75kg. Finally ordered a medium and hope that it is not too big for my liking. The store I ordered showed me pics of a size small on two different people, 172cm and 180cm. I liked the former one better because the latter seems woube be restrictive when wearing layers and a bit short in length.

First time trying SISP, can’t wait.

How does the j58ws compare to the mionn is from veilance? I want to get a insulator for my j1ts but not sure if i want to spend 1300ish for a j58 when i can get the alternative for half the price.

You pay 700 usd for the ACRNM label, it’s a bargain.

  12. Love the all the pics and reviews, would like to know the possibility to wear J73 as a liner.

Since it has no insulation I doubt I can survive the winter wearing J73 under shell.

i send e-mail about high price, i got reply and they agreed that it was too high to be priced that way.

Since i brought it to their attention, they made me a coupon code that i can put towards that item

too bad i was at the work, by the time i check email already sold out

    oh well...

Impressed, unfortunately as a good retailer they don’t ship outside US.

18Montrose just ignored my email about price setting, let alone coupon code.

You will get used to it.

They may be slow to response and sometimes does not even bother to reply, but they always fix the issues in the end.

Fine by me, much better than talking tons of shit and doing nothing.

    I’ll take it back.

Placed order yesterday when mothersite restocked, received order confirmation, payment confirmation and PayPal invoice all at once. I even received shipping notice in 30 minutes.

24 hours later my order got cancelled with no reason given, and the item I want is sold out.
