Give it time lol. If there’s abrasion, it’ll pill sooner or later.. especially the inner fabric.. face fabric is more durable. Also, the face fabric snags as well.

I was loosely following byborre for a minute. most of their fabric are merino wool and cotton mix/blends, they will also incorporate goretex in their AW. I wouldn’t necessarily look at byborre in the forefront of tech fabric but more on their knitting textures and patterns. Their 3D knits are dope. I haven't felt compelled to buy tho, just window shop. I love DS for everyday wear and IMO not a lot of fabric comes close to its comfortability within the climate I’m in, california. If someone can only get rid of the pilling issues it’ll be the perfect fabric lol

I think you’ll be fine with any of those choices. primaloft is just thinner than climashield. They both have the same heat efficiency. The difference will be the hem on the j68 vs 83 and 58. You’ll have to use the shock cord to cinch (un-cinch to dump heat) the hem on the 68.

How does it react to abrasions?

I’ve only had this P36–E for a day but I can already tell that it’ll be more machine washable than the unblended cotton ver. There’s no fade as well, at least I can’t tell. Unlike epic and ventile where you can see an immediate change (fade) to the fabric after a wash (even hand washing it). I only spot clean regular cotton epic and ventile. I only wash em if I really have to.

Got the info I needed. Thanks y’all From the consensus, there’s a lot of different ways to go about it. Everyone is using grangers in a gentle cycle then either hang dry or put into dryer at low settings.
