Since I joined this competition I also started using Instagram... I think it's a nice and easy way to share our progresses. I already found a few contestants... Anyone else out there?

Nice job loosing weight Volvo. Even if you're selling your jeans, are you still coming to the meetup?
EDITTTTT: I wasn't very awake when I wrote the this post. It needed an edit.

Hey Steven,
Is this the same 14,75 fabric as the spikes X012?
I decided to start producing these in the X012 denim. 14.75 ounce red line Cone Mills. Its a real nice weight. Feels perfect for a jacket. It actually keeps you warm. Its fully triple chain stitched with no open seams. The jacket is super hard to make. No very many jackets are constructed like this and if they are they are super expensive. So I think ours is pretty well priced. Just opened up the preorder on our site. Preorder will close Monday January 27th. But we are actually starting the production on them tomorrow. So hopefully, we will have a good headstart to ship them once the preorder closes. https://www.railcarfinegoods.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=RMJDEUCEX012

Here in the Netherlands that's around August b_F . You sure you want to let us wait that long? haha
If we're going to Amsterdam, my advise is to plan out meet-up during a special Dutch holiday or a special event. If this is the case we should plan a.s.a.p! If we're doing this on a regular weekend, then we could wait until it gets warmer.
@Flo. If you're bringing the misses, I'll bring mine too!

Guys... When will we meet up in Amsterdam!?

Railcar Fine Goods - X009. Worn around 6 months and they had 4 washes in total. I waited 3 months for the first wash. After that I did one every few weeks.
In december I decided to hem them while I was in Berlin. The hem was done on the exact same point as where the cuff used to start (look at the last picture). You can see the stitch doing through that line
You can find more pics, info and small updates on my blog: http://fadeproject.tumblr.com/

I love making pics of this denim. This is definitely the fastest fading denim I have.

No offence taken man!
About machine-washing them: I think you'll be able to button them up even after a machine wash. I did 1 soak, 1 machine wash and another soak a few days later. They only shrank 1'' in the waist and stretched back after one wear.

any evo pics for X009 ? mine are at the 7/8 month stage, some fades slowly coming through
If you go back a few pages you'll find mine. I gave them their third wash yesterday. I'll make pics this weekend if the weather is good!

Yeah yeah why don't you just rub it in!!
Congrats with your pair man. Did you measure before soaking?

A few weeks ago I went to a denim party in a town nearby. There I had the opportunity to get my wallet tattooed

The text on the pocket lining says: ''jeans has made equality of people a lot more than comminism''.
What is 'cominism'? A small fail or something unknown to my vocabulary?

4 months? That is a lot of fading for 4 months. Probably has to do with your job or hobbie(s)?
P.S. Do you also have some fit pics?
