I only wore them around the house, but they are much stiffer than the red wings. However, I really like it and also the arch support. I seriously wish I had more of these than the red wings, and I really find RW comfortable. Looks like more white's boots are in my future. Damn you Mega for doing this to me!

Thanks for the feedback. I can't get over how awesome these are...I don't know if I'll ever want to wear my Red Wings again. I thought the Red Wings were a huge step up from my Doc Martens (made in UK)...since joining this forum I have learned so much from everyone beyond just the denim, which is all I was ever really into!

Thank you. I am really looking forward to wearing as much as possible the next 2 years.
For those experienced with White's leather, should I add a waterproofer now? I got the stuff from Baker's and thought I would add a coat before wearing. Usually right out of the box I wear boots until they need a conditioning, and these look greasy enough.

Wow, now I know why people like these boots! These put my Red Wings to shame...Burgundy Chrome excel with black cherry water buffalo upper. Very slight color difference, but just enough to add something. Sorry for the poor pics, but all I could do at the moment.

Totally useless post, but my boots are out for delivery by end of the day today and I am excited. I'll post pics tonight. Looking forward to my first pair of white's!

It's those leathers you chose from endangered animals and elephant ivory for the eyelets!

I'd love to see somebody wear in the burgundy chromexcel. I saw the pair posted on this page of styleforum http://www.styleforu...ts-thoughts/630 and fell in love. The brass eyelets and tan leather laces look great.
Mine are a combo of the burgundy cxl with the upper shaft in black cherry water buffalo. I hope I chose wisely. I did go with nickle rather than brass.

"You won't believe this! Medical Anthropologists at Harvard just found a strong correlation between men wearing heavy, skin-tight denim in extreme heat and infertility. Data was collected from active users of an old internet forum called Superfuture just a few decades ago. More at 6." - CNN, 2050.
Sounds more like that would be on Fox News

Well, it is 6:30 am here and 2 degrees F. Since I am a scientist I can actually convert that to Celsius..and it converts to really damn cold....or -17 C. I need my MBBs!!!

That's awesome. It's snowing where I am. Time to put the boots by the heater to dry out and grab some scotch!

Really really tempting. Looking forward to hearing more.

Maybe we can get a single malt scotch made for the competition
Beatle buster single malt. I'm thinking it needs to be very peaty to go along with heavy denim.
But back to the shoes and not totally hijack this thread-
Mega- have you already contacted a specific company or is this in the infancy stage? For me it'll depend on the brand and cost, but I am interested.

Mega- I have no soul. I'm slightly ginger.
Hog- I don't think anyone wants my liver. Been soaked in too much single malt scotch.

Mega - you are such an enabler. I'd very much consider depending on price and brand.
On that note, can I put up a kidney to sell on the marketplace or is that against SuFu regs?

Been a while since I did a bump.

Price reduced....$90.

Mega- you and Beatle are doing so much to set this thing up and keep it going. With all of the discounts made available to buy denim for this there really isn't a reason for someone not to pay up $10. The discounts easily saved well over $10 on a pair for the contest.
