I’m gonna get a pair. The only other sorta black jeans I have don’t fit great anymore, and I’ve always wanted a pair of 1947s.

I’m real tempted by their yak fleece, but almost 1k for a fleece is a lot of money. Time will tell, I guess, but I’m passing for now. I do think their whole vibe is pretty cool, and I bet their stuff is excellent.

It’s hard to go wrong with Patagonia 5” Baggies or their Stand Up shorts. I haven’t found shorts I like more than those two, and both have become pretty iconic designs at this point.

Both look great. What denim is that, @MJF9? I’ve been thinking about picking up the latest SC66 version, cause SC denim in jackets seems to be a good idea.

Great belt. I have the same one from the same period, and have been wearing it a lot lately. It's cool to see another one with some wear.

do you have comparison pics or at least post break-in pics?
No, but I can try and take some and post them.

I've found that the thing with the R01 cut is that you need to give them a decent amount of time to break in and really mold to your body. My first pair of R01s went from being somewhat unflattering to being my favorite cut, pretty much ever. Some of this was getting used to wider jeans, no doubt. But a lot of it was the denim changing and really breaking in. Give the R01 time. They're worth it.

Hell yeah. I'm very interested to see what they come back with and how they move forward. I'd guess a more limited line, but I guess we'll find out.

That jacket looks amazing. Thanks for posting! Way badass; I can't wait to see it in a couple of years.

This stuff looks cool, and I'm glad Self Edge is doing it, and I'll likely never buy it. But whatever, I'm sure I'm also not the target market. I'd love to hear more about the analysis that goes into bringing in a brand like this to a store like Self Edge. It seems like Rick Owens has a rabid following, and there's not a lot of overlap between those people and your average Self Edge customer, or at least that's my understanding. Streetwear and denim overlap, so perhaps this is streetwear + high fashion + denim, hanging out and being expensive and awesome?

That is a very strong SS19 lineup. That Desperado block pattern is especially good. Stevenson continues to be interesting pretty much every season.

I've got a pair of 33" Big Bro 2's which have been repaired that I'd be willing to let go. I'm Memorial fit all the way these days.

That's a beautiful sweater. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah man. Pants for adults.

Those Peanuts and Memorials are looking great. Thanks for sharing, dudes. I picked up the R01, and like them so much I grabbed the Test Lots too. I can't get enough of this cut these days. Roy is killing it.

Woah. They cleaned up really well!

Yep. I'd take anyone's 34' that they were willing to move. These are real good.

I almost did. I ordered two of their shirts a couple of years ago, and just wasn't feeling the construction. One of them was a Hawaiian. YMMV. They seem like good folks and a lot of people like their stuff, it just didn't do it for me.
