Are you complaining about his actual films or his interviews?
His films. His interviews are whatever.

^Yes and yes.

almost positive he's ELL. and awesome.
He's so here sophomoric, which is unsurprising given his filmography.

Inarritu is that person you meet who uses big words they don't understand to show you how smart they are. Except he does it with film grammar.

I missed this one, supposedly a decent giallo hommage but not that much more.
People way more knowledgeable than me called it a deconstruction of the martial arts assassin sub genre.
Where do you live that you were able to see this in theaters?
A major work by a thoroughly minor talent. The distance between what he thinks he says and what he actually says is fascinating.
Masterpiece. The only copy I could find was a bootleg from Taiwan but it was well worth it.
Who would've thought that the auteur who made Pulp Fiction, a movie I find deeply cynical and painfully hip, would make this movie?
What a remarkable performance by the two lead actresses. When those two were in a scene together the screen crackled with energy.
JJ Abrams proves my thesis that he's a producer's director, making a movie that is both bombastic and portentous while failing to earn a single moment.
This guy is incredible. I realize these are only his late works but did he do anything that wasn't worth watching?

This is at the top of my list of movies I want to see. What did you think of it?

Who knew a review of a writers guide would be so enthralling.

I need someone who can proxy two audio commentaries. The commentaries in question were done by Adrian Martin, for Madman Entertainment's release of Gertrud (catalog #: MMA2700) and Une Femme Mariee (UPC: 9322225063693). The proxy does not have to be located in Australia or New Zealand, really any college student with access to an inter-library service should suffice, but because the two DVDs are R4 releases, it seemed easiest for most anyone in that area. Some computer savvy skills will be required, but not much as all you really need is an application to extract the audio files and some way to send the files over the internet. In all this should be a job that takes no more than an hour of your time once you have the DVDs in had. I will send you the sum of whatever we agreed upon via paypal once I received the audio commentaries. And conversely if it is easier just to proxy the items physically, rather than electronically, that could work too.
Cover photos of the items in question:

Holy shit this movie was awesome!
This movie is pretty great given the binding constraints inherent to the Avengers.

I've only ever seen a DVD whose negative was in poor condition and I've gotta say, this restoration looks incredible.
