i just received a phone call from hiro, and she told me that there will be a surprise for everyone in the contest.

i cant tell the details since its not 100% confirmed, but she will send us an e-mail with specifics in few days or so.

lets patiently wait for it.

i was looking over some pictures and found one taken by hiro portraying me and ryo discussing about this contest.

i believe this was around mid may.

hiro has posted images of my pair being produced, or beginning to be produced.

pretty darn excited.

18 months sounds good to me too.

darn excited to see ryo and hiro having started the production.

they no longer offer the red tag nor the arcuate stitch, with no exception.

as flash has explained above, ooe is no longer going to offer the red tag for future orders.

hiro told me that there will be no exception for that.

anyways i really want to see the updated leather patch with every contestant's name on it.

i believe ooe would respond to us once everybody has sent his order for the contest.

we need commitment to this event since ooe is doing a great favor to us, despite them being very busy with other products.

number 5 sounds like a great number to me.

my ideal number is 11 or 17, but i dont pretty muh care which number belongs to me.

yes this is my first pair from OOE.

I have been using their messenger bag for three years or so, but never had a pair of their jeans.

I always wanted to make a custom pair, but never had time to visit their studio.

When I visited them for the first time, I discussed the possibility of ordering a pair.

And when I visited them for the second time to fix the details of my order, Ryo told me about this contest.

Everything somehow happened to come all together, and I am now a contestant!

I am seeing them once again in Novemeber or so when they visit Tokyo for some convo event.

Hiro told me that she and Ryo would be responding to the contestants is a few days.

They are pretty busy with the piled up custom order besides pairs of jeans.

They also have another convo to attend in the beginning of July.

Shouldnt we just wait, since once we hear back from them, it will be a quick one till we have the custom pairs in our hands.

Lets kindly keep up with OOE, thats one way to support them!

I got a pair of new 1001XX, yet to wear them since i got other pairs to break down first.

but overall quality is great, despite the price being a little too high.

I cant wait to see samples of other people's 1001XX.

I got the very last pair on Beams online store.

I want a pair of 9202xx after the pair for SUFU contest.

I have a sample fabric, and i want a pair made from the fabric.

here is a few that i have done to my custom S9101XX.

Base: 01XX Cut with S03XX details

Stitches: Combination of charcol grey and navy *imagining the color to fade along with the #91 fabric.

Rivets: Silver with OOE engraving

Bottons: Plain Black

etc

there are others to list up, but this is for now i guess.

I got back from Hiro, and she was glad that I made it to the contest.

She also told me that she and Ryo would respond the piled up emails from the contestants ASAP, since everybody seems nervous about their jeans.

So yeah, we should get back from them with the order details pretty soon.

Would it be still possible to join this contest?

I just visited OOE Yofukuten today and talked with Ryo about this event.

I am ordering a semi-custom pair of 01XX model with 91 fabric.
