  1. What about lint / pet hairs on the 60/30 fabric? I prefer OG over the workcloth of the dungarees because I don't have to roll it everytime I leave the house (2 cats). Haven't tried the 60/30 but on the pictures it looks like it'd catch lint like crazy, it's the main reason stopping me from trying the chinos.

  2. They offered to refund it or exchange it for other colour cause the black in my size was sold out. I really wanted to keep it so that was what they suggested me to do.

  3. talking about the merino pullover.. mine had the triangle on the neck crooked to one side, with the lower vertex about 1-2 centimeters off-center. Contacted outlier and they told me to take it to a local tailor to reposition it and they would cover the cost.  Since I've never been too fond of that triangle I decided to take it off completely. I just did it myself really carefully with a seam ripper and scissors, there's no trace at all of it, like it was never there. If someone doesn't like that triangle.. just know that it's not hard to remove and it won't leave a mark.

  4. There is a exclusive for SNS by adidas coming out in an hour. Originals Tech Super called Autumn Stories, with cordura outer and PrimaLoft lining.. looks interesting for A/W, I'll try to get a pair for my wife.  I really like the reebok X SNS goretex  that they put out last year. They are making some really nice colaborations using good materials, specially for the winter ones.

  5. i need that air forged oxford and merino hoodie in earthstone / shademaroon medium, the ones that have sold out!!!

anywhere i can buy other than outlier?

restocked the air forged, they have 11 left in medium earthshadow. Get it fast.

  6. Can anyone suggest a good looking hiking boot/shoe that'd be good for hot weather? Bonus points if the soles can handle a few seconds at 800-1200 centigrade.

Also like a thousand of you have PMed me asking for a code, I'm going to send the ones I have left to people based on who is most active on the forums, since I'd like to see some feedback on Isaora's stuff as opposed to ebalbe drive-by bargain hunters.

the nike Arktos without the neoprene inner sock are super thin and can be worn in summer, no idea about the resistance of the sole.

If you are into barefoot/minimal soles  vivobarefoot has some great hiking/traill running stuff. Some of them are made in summer versions with thin uppers, I use a pair of the trail running shoes whenever I go hiking.

  7. I have a pair of three-ways (purp) and new Ogs (black) on grailed. Both size 31.

The price is expensive because of duties+shipping so it only makes sense to get them if you are outside US:  http://www.grailed.com/users/13616-deadsunrise/wardrobe

I also made a list with everything I've found available on grailed, ebay, sufu and styforum by outlier. It's here: http://frozenlabs.com/posts/list-of-used-outlier-clothing-for-sale-october-2014

  8. i need that air forged oxford and merino hoodie in earthstone / shademaroon medium, the ones that have sold out!!!

stalk the weekly restock report today at reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Outlier

I'm 100% sure that both will appear this or next week

  9.

Has anyone purpose shrunk merino? I have a L Outlier t-shirt that's just a little big (and it's to late to return). I was thinking of drying it on warm in 5 or ten minute increments to achieve the desired effect. Perhaps it doesn't work like that, and shrinks unevenly?

Also, I wish the 60/30s had a gusset. I wish all pants had a gusset.

I tried too, some of the Small tees I have are huge but they didn't shrink. Maybe they did a tiny bit but not really noticeable.

  10. New products:

fugly-est vest they have ever put out: http://shop.outlier.cc/shop/retail/strong-vest.html

airforged oxford in new colors, the new ones are a bit dull: http://shop.outlier.cc/shop/retail/air-forged-oxford.html

60/30 chinos, nicest colour (green) sold out in minutes: http://shop.outlier.cc/shop/retail/chino.html

And they also announced the hoodie restock.

About the hoodie.. I received one today, got the deep grey and it has a very intense blue tint, was expecting something more gray even if the pictures at the site are pretty accurate. Would have prefered that they released the gray that Lars is wearing in the pics again.

A pic I snapped in the car, the pants are the top are indigo dungarees, then the deep gray hoodie and the bottom is the navy freeshell, Everything it looks "bluer" in real life.

Apart from that.. awesome fabric, super soft and exact same cut as the freeshell so pretty comfortable. It's pretty warm too.

  11. The wife loves that, shame he EU site doesn't stock it yet.

Same thing with mine, she really likes it, is cheap and looks great but fuck the "no international shipping"-thing, it's 2014 for god's sake, every online shop should have fucking international shipping. It really pisses me off.

Hope they'll get it someday in the EU store.

  12. ^ How's the sizing on those? I fucked up ordering a praetorian hoodie last month so I haven't tried anything from TAD. Cancelled the order cause they had the same one in tacwrk.com (located in germany so no import duties). When I got the reply from TAD confirming that the order was cancelled it was already sold out in tacwrk :(

  13. Wearing size small, i'm about 170cm tall. Neck opening seems normal, not tight and not super wide, just right. You won't be disappointed.

for more info regarding the sizing of SISP tees, I wear it in M and I'm 179cm, 74kg

  14. ^ I ordered that tee after seeing aleporte's pic, received it a couple days ago.  Super soft, sizing is like the rest of SI, I would say european sizing so it fits smaller than other brands. I got an M and fits similar to an S by outlier or icebreaker. Size up quite a bit (2 sizes) if you want it to drape. I would say that the neck is standard, it's not particularly tight.

Wait for him to reply but he is probably wearing an M too.

  15. which brand? I seriously haven't noticed that at all and I've been wearing only merino tees for 3-4 years. The wet tees after the washing machine smell fine (unloaded it a couple hour ago and checked).  Anybody else around here has noticed that wet merino smells bad?

  16. ^ If those merino/polyamide blends are from finisterreuk I disagree. After sweating in them they smell worse than 100% merino, and durability is not too good either.

I have merino tees from icebreaker, outlier and finisterre, the only ones that have any kind of smell are the ones by finisterreuk, they  have a ¿wool? smell even dry.   I don't find the polyamide helping with durability (horrible pilling, specially on the underwear made with the same fabric) and even less with smells. The only pros I find in them is that they are softer than the rest, stretchier and maybe a bit cooler because the weave is more open.

I'm curious about the 120gsm drifter from icebreaker, the 160 feels like the thinnest of the tees I have, even compared to the same 160gsm from finisterre. It has to be crazy thin.

BTW I don't have problems with any of this t-shirts in the spanish summers, in july I was at a festival in the south, reached 39 celsius (102F) and you sweat like a pig but it stills feels nicer than cotton, at least you don't feel that wet (I wore outlier's 200gsm most of the days). Same thing in Punta Cana with the ones by finisterre and higher humidity.

The only thing I have that feels cooler is outlier's linen shirt.
