The quality of much of what we saw in Indonesia was outstanding, there are many brands we would like to work with in the future. The scene for denim and workwear there is being driven by such a young and energetic group, with such pride in what they do.
It is our pleasure to be working with these brands, and we hope to extend our relationship Indonesia in the future.
There are so many small and interesting brands in Indonesia. Just take a look at the 'local brand' section of the Darakubiru forum and you will find a lot of brands with outstanding craftmanship and quality.

Nice to see there finally is a European retailer giving Indonesian denim and leather the love they deserve.
Best of luck to your venture!

6 months, really?! Damn, that's some insane progress for just 6 months wear.

To each their own, eh?
Of course, diversity makes this competition interesting.

Great post, Netley. Not really a big fan of huntig, but it's cool to see people sharing their denim experiences.

Any opinion on Scotch & Soda jeans (Amsterdams Blauw)?
I think they have some nice fits in their range. But as most Dutch brand, S&S sometimes is a bit over the top with all their details.

If I'm correct, that fabric should be the same as the fabric used on the Sage 18 oz marcher.

The Hound is the slimmest pair they offer at the moment.

That's some pretty amazing progress in such a short period of time. I wonder how they will end up after HWDCR2.

Only way is to send the guys at Sage an email. They're willing to send it abroad and are very friendly and helpful.

Finally a Sage topic on SuFu! I'm currently wearing the 17 oz. Wardens in HWDCR2 and know two people who are wearing the 18 oz. marchers.
The webshop on their site is pretty outdated, they have a more updated stock on the darahkubiru forum.

Although most of the forum is in Indonesian, the brand owners speak perfectly good English.

As far as my samurai knowledge goes, the 710s are the slimmest heavy weights.

Cool to see my challenge entry getting so much love.
Here's an update on my Sage Wardens. 0 soaks and 0 washes at around 3/4 months of weartime.

X-post from the HWDCR general thread.
HC-SF-68, my entry for challenge 2.

To bump the thread and the contest overall. I'm done with challenge numero 2. Denim and sports
Here's my entry. Enjoy!

It's a shame I missed the first challenge. Wasn't really happy with the outcome of my paranoid park scene. But this time I have a bit more freedom on how to incorporate skateboarding in a challenge, it will make completing the challenge easier.

I love when the bursts of Sugar Cane posts keep it toward the top for short periods. For the price to quality ratio, I'd love to see a bunch of these more active, younger folks really beat up some Canes instead of N&F and whatnot. The dudes that are still chasing ladies 'til sunrise could really do some damage. Me sitting on the couch with the wife really only turns the cushions blue.
I'm a young guy and I'd really like to have a pair of SC's, but the inseams are too short for me, unfortunately. I wish they made some SC's with longer inseams seeing some of the amazing fades in this thread.

Some updates on my Sage after 7 months of wear. It's hard to capture the true colors with a phone camera. But you can get an overal idea.
