have any of you guys worked around an injury before? what did you do?
my left hip is hurting after squats last week, i've tried DB step ups (about parallel) and Romanian deadlifts since then - neither aggravate the injury (so far anyway)
high bar a2g squats and conventional deadlifts are out of the question. i'll be visiting a physio eventually if none of this gets better over time

anyone here do plyometrics/speed routines? how do you go about doing them while keeping up a strength routine (i.e. a daily or weekly split). or is it recommended to stick to one or the other for a few weeks

it's a pretty small gym, and also there's no reinforced rubber flooring stuff outside of the rack
i don't do rack pulls per se, if that's what you were wondering

What about strength imbalances in the legs/hips/posterior?
I think I have this. I am right handed and kick with my left leg, but I feel like my right leg is stronger for squat/leg press/step up/whatever (not sure of this yet). You guys reckon lunges/single leg presses are gonna do anything??
I also notice in my deadlift that the bar ends up veering to the left by the end of a set (this is a pain in the ass if I'm pulling inside my gym's squat rack (like this one), but I have no real way of noticing if I'm not inside a rack) - not sure if this is attributed to a weaker left arm, leg, or both.

i was on a 4 day split (shoulders; back/bi; chest/tri; legs) and now trying a push/pull, strength/hypertrophy routine
while i was on the 4 day split working quads just once a week i'd get ~mad doms~ that would take like 3-4 days to go away, but i'd never really have to train through with the affected muskle group (i.e. heals by the time it needs to work again)
but now with push/pull i'm looking at doing a leg exercise 4 times a week - so from experience, does this sort of thing get better over time when changing routines? or is routine/loading type&frequency irrelevant? i can barely walk after my first day of push strength (from squats+leg press)
