  1. Sometimes within the next week I would like to put in an order for the Beatle Buster OD, currently my Grand Indigo's are measured exactly at 33" and so is my waist when measured where they sit at is also a 33". I know the OD's don't shrink and they do stretch between .5-1". So I am wondering if I should order a 33Tagged which is measured at 32", wear that and they'll stretch, or do a tagged 34 which is measured at 33" they will also stretch a bit so I am not sure on which I should go with, opinions?

  2. After seeing all of these beautiful iron's, I've made the decision on getting a pair as something to rotate in. I am thinking the OD Buster. Are these rough & slubby like the 666's? Also wondering if they will be ok in the summertime out here in WA state. I have just a pair of Momotaro Grand Indigo's I am wearing daily and am thinking of something to rotate with and the OD buster is what I am leaning towards.

  3. haha nice

i was at a concert in a mosh pit. someone who's with the band stage dove into the crowd. when he was right over me, i noticed that he was wearing a pair of iron hearts. even while being pushed, too dehydrated to see straight, and minus a shoe, i could still notice the little M on the back right pocket.

  4. You are going to love em. Since I took those pictures the other day there has been a little more fading going on its great. Can't wait to see what they look like in a few more months. They are also so comfy, a little tight in the thighs but a comfortable tight to me. I've been squatting lately so my thighs have been getting bigger that could also be it.

^ nice grand indigos theganjalife, i think you just sold me on my next denims

  5. Been wearing these Grand Indigo's for a month. Went probably 3 days max not wearing them. A stitch broke on the 2nd day. The Woman did a mini fix it when I was asleep. This week 3 other stitches broke in the crotch, progress lol. They stand out to me because the thread is pink. I love thrashing these, Wasn't expecting the threads to break so fast. Oh well. I'm just leaving them as is until they look like a rotten apple then I'll take em in for a repair. These have been the most comfortable denim I have put on though. 2nd skin.

P.S. Sorry for the annoying bathroom lighting. I promise next time I'll pull out the Nikon and go to the living room

  8. Inseam on the grand indigos come in 35.5.

How long was your inseam before hemming?

I got my Momo's ER007-2B today and the inseam isn't that long. Great Denim btw, will post some fitpics on the weekend. :)

  9. You will end up loving the jeans regardless if you hem em or not. Rock the cuffs for a week or two that's what I did. Basically a week to think about it. So I went for it.

@theganjalife - i'm 5'11 my cuffs are about an inch and they are doubled. i have a feeling if i wear it for a couple more weeks it will not highwater as much when i sit. i think it's only highwatering because its still stiff and tight right now, i think if i wear it and stretch it out a little more in the waist i can have a lower rise and the jeans will sit lower. but i just don't know yet. i will post fit pics to get some opinions

@rubyblue - haha i wish it was that easy that would be awesome i would if i could. but too bad this raw denim hobby/lifestyle is an expensive one!

  10. I know what you're saying. I see you obviously do not like the cuff enough to actually be happy with it and keep it. I was basically in the same boat, so I hemmed. So happy I did. Go for it. I noticed you said they are like high waters when you sit down. I am 5'9 how tall are you? When I double cuffed I did 2 1" cuffs on each leg and had room when I sat down comfortably too it was just perfect. How big are yours cuffs? Just make the cuffs smaller.

im the same way with my jeans. im very ocd. im at a lost as in what to do with my jeans. i like the double cuff i have going on but i don't like the fact that they highwater when i sit AND i dont really how they make very visible cuff marks if i decide to unroll them. i just don't know what to do lol i'm very neurotic when it comes to my jeans

    lol I know right.

Buy 2 pairs : one for cuffing & one hemmed to length ;-)

  11. I decided to hem them because I like the cleaner look of the jean without a cuff and that usually goes for any jean I wear that's just my personal preference. I also like the thread that Jay of Blue owl uses its thicker. Plus in the end I do not want any intense cuff marks on the jean or anything. Just want to put on my jeans not worrying about a cuff. I seem to have OCD with cuffs and constantly are making sure they're even and just right lmfao.

I gained a little bit of a bond with the grand indigo's that's why I didn't want to hem em and wait for a few days haha but Jay is awesome and blue owl is only 30-40 minutes away and he knew I had a road trip tomorrow and I wanted to wear them. He gladly hemmed them that night and they were done so I could pick them up the next day.

If you want to hem them, by all means. Do it. If you enjoy cuffs. Then cuff.

@theganjalife why did you decide to hem your jeans? i thought you were going with the double cuff. just wondering because i have the same one and can't decide wether to cuff or hem
