anyone here have experience with replacing an escape-zip? and that could tell me how expensive it is (if they even do it) mine broke recently, in that the little bottom part of the zipper on one side came off.  fabric under it looked worn down so it probably wasn't secured properly in the first place, since i have another jacket of the same model that is 2-3 years older then this one.  and that one has no signs of wear at all.

You need to remember that almost all of men street fashion in post-soviet Russia and Ukraine(it's different but i can talk about those two, because i know only RU and UA)

are born from "on the terrace fashion", Stone Island, Fred Perry, C.P.Company, etc.

Almost all were football hooligans inspired, and so a bit right-wing oriented.

Like right now there is only one left-wing football club i know in UA "Arsenal-Kiyv".

So SI patch were almost a marker for trouble, till maybe 2004, not so much anymore.

A lot of local brands with tech aspiration or inspired by acrnm, si etc are made by guys who were active on derbies and liked to fight on matches.

They are older, more mature now, no fighting people on the streets.

But still can secretly draw SS in their prints just for fun and lols etc.

offtop: Тоr Steiner is now owned by Dubai conglomerate so don't worry.

Nationalism in Russia now is anti-countries, not anti-nations and far right are not popular as it was in 90-x.

In Ukraine it's even more liberal, if you are anti-moscow it's good.

There now a bit of skinheads on the streets, but they almost all young (sub 21) and from far east territories which is ravaged by war and pro-russian mercenaries.

I believe they will be assimilated by more liberal culture of big cities.  

There no particular "scene" for high level techware in UA for example.

And i don't know anybody who owns any Acronym in Kiev.

Yeah, but still high quality seamstress payed around 150 to 300 usd/month max in Ukraine, for example. Maybe a bit more in Sumperk? Also electricity, and logistics for CZ is pricier then for Chinese micro-factorу. 

There is ACR premium part in price, but it's not outrageous. 

first of all do not think that sewists at acronym are cool young dudes wearing only the brand. sumperk s a small town with few job opportunities, few years back l saw local ad seeking sewists, you would surprised how low the income was if you convert it to western currency and from point of view of a western people.

Max production cost of this jacket is around 100 (under 70 realistically) usd if made in china.

Maybe double that if made on TILAK factories in CZ (does Errolson still produce acronym there?)

But i bet Hugh pay more, because factory must turn profit too and the cost of QA and a bit better quality. 

So Chinese guys turn x3, Hugh maybe x5-x6 (he needs to turn profit on wholesale, and no retailer in the world would sell under x2 markup, realistically x2,5-x3)

I can do almost the same now in Ukraine, but just need some industrial equipment and materials.

And china have all industrial equipment in the world, and all the materials too, exept riri cobrax snaps, sadly no for now.

Sadly it's fake some of the "supercopy" variation.

They produce maybe 10 to 20 of them and stop.

two sellers on some Chinese online marketplace have them around 1700-2000 RMB.

honesrly with way acronym is preordered and priced l see no way how could a preproduction sample from not so many seasons back get to end customers. and l still think the tag is wrong, or at least its different. dunno why two J44 (same season) with white label come with different typography. the most akward thing is the gtx label on sleeve. why. would thy label a sample/not matching quality item with it?

on the otherhand it must be produced in gore licensed factory, because you cant buy gtx in small quantities anywhere. same with the zippers.

On a side note, I've been playing around a bit with getting a more RO + Techwear style to work and it's painfully obvious that this is A: difficult and B: my Nomad looks like shit with the blend of styles. Going to need to rethink my parka choice, maybe.

 

Not so hard, maybe you could try other silhouettes, more relaxed bottom for example.

under it ro longsleeve, under it ro tank + some merino buff in all black, hat is RO beanie.

Bottom: pants made by myself from softshell RO prisioner inspired + merino socks

footwear: dunks, geobaskets, even air force mid insideout etc.

upd: you should try Veilance Sinter for shell. Should work with RO.
