  2. What would be the differences between the 42 and the 46 506XX?
The pocket looks a bit smaller.

Buttons were smaller on the 22 and 33 I think, but here it's already the same I think as 46.
Perhaps the pleats stitiching are smaller, too.

Also the tab is there already.

The 1937s do indeed run large. I was advised to go down one size than my typical FW size and am happy with the fit. I do know people who took their normal size in the 37s and have to wash more frequently to keep them from getting too sloppy.

    Yep, also my experience.
I got them in 33 vs. my ususal 34 (ore recently 36) and they fit very comfortably.
The 51 on the other hand are quite slim in 33. 34 would have been better.

Any thoughts on the boots? They look good.

I bought them a year or so ago.
When I first saw them I wasn't so sure about this moc toe combo with dressier boots leather and sole. But like it does, it somehow grew on me.
    Luckily the size fit perfectly.
And the boots with very nice calf leather have been very comfortable from the beginning as the Two Monkeys guys had said.

I find them to be really a unique pair of boots.

  7. The Oni heavy oxford items like the type 2 jacket are quite nice, I find.

I still have a pair of the 277, which is a regular straight fit. I bought them 10 years or so ago. They have some WW2 details like laurel button and olive drap HBT pockets. That denim is 15oz, I think, and quite subdued.

  8. Yes, same here.

I left Unionville many years ago with a number of jeans and flannels. Very friendly guys.
Also at Fein&Ripp and Rider's Room.

I haven't been to SOAS yet. But communication by email was very friendly and helpful.

  9. Queston for the fabric experts:
I noticed, that on most of my sweat shirt nice creases have started to set in the sleeves.
    However not in all.
And that can't be related to the weight of the fabric. As the one with no creases is on the heavier side.

    What makes the difference?
The tsuriami (hang knitting, which I think is somehow different from loop wheeling) manufacturing?

  10. Nice
    Special jeans.

    What is the weight?
And the denim is still RHT, right? Didn't Lee only change that after WW2 or so?
I have two 101 models from the thirties (made by Edwin) and they're RHT and ca. 12oz.

@indigoeagle The inseam was tricky and I didn’t get it as I wanted. It’s different than jeans, I guess the rise is related as you mentioned.

    Thank you @Hopethisoneisnttaken

How tall are you? Was the inseam of your pair then also stated as 75cm?

I got away with 34 in the 50s and got the S40s in 36.
So 34 might be way to go here, considering that they're a quite wide cut. That should still be comfy.
    Or better 36?
