Anyone know if there is any where in LA that carries Left Field? I remember seeing it at this one shop in Los Feliz, but thats long gone out of business.

Workshirts are already sold out. That went quick...posted on Friday, gone by Sunday. Anyone know if these were limited or are they going to do a few more runs?

im 5'11 ~130, think a medium would be too big?
Measure your chest, thats really the only way I've been able to figure it out. These look like they run about 1 size smaller then your run of the mill small, medium, large, etc... albeit we only have one fit picture.
I can tell you from experience with a heavier shirt like this you wouldnt want it to be too tight, or its going to be uncomfortable as hell.

Im going with a large (5'11, 160lbs), these look like they are running pretty small. I dont think I could get a medium over my shoulders. I compared the size chart to my other shirts. These look like they run smaller then the NF slim shirt if anyone needs a general comparison.

Im thinking about picking up one of the work shirts, but I'm having trouble on the sizing. I wear a medium in the NF shirts, with the slim shirt being pretty slim on me. The only measurement I really know of myself is my suit which is a 40. I was thinking a medium in the work shirts, but that seems like it may be too slim. Should I go with a large?

I noticed not all of the selfedge branded shirts and stuff are not online? Are there any heavy denim work shirts for guys in that line that may be available at SE LA?

Any stores in LA going to carry these work shirts? Got a big test next week and I think this will bring the good luck...

Is it possible for a cobbler to take off a lug sole and lay down a leather sole? I have this pair of TBC boots that I picked up at a thrift store brand new that I never wear because of the massive lug sole. The lug is sitting on top of stacked leather so I thought it could be taken off and maybe and replaced with like a leather sole or something a little flatter.

So I've come across some found saved money I was putting away for beer and trip that I never went on when I was in college. It actually totals out to ~$325. I'm considering getting a new pair of boots. I've got a pair of the Wolverine 1000 miles in rust, so I was thinking maybe something black and with a moc toe or different then a normal toe, maybe some engineer boots or something. I'm going to throw in a little money, so any suggestions if I've got ~$425-450 to spend?

Looking to pick up a vest... narrowed it down to three:
Filson Mackinaw wool in brown: http://www.filson.com/products/mackinaw-wool-vest.10055.html
Belstaff body warmer gilet in brown: http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/outerwear/Belstaff/PRDOVR~29320/29320.jsp
Stronghold denim vest: http://www.orvis.com/store/product.aspx?pf_id=4K14
Any others I should be considering? Cant really get much over $250.
Thanks for all your help.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I was surprised to see the the Tender Co. elephant on the packaging for Trader Joe's tissues. I'll have to get a picture next time I'm in the store.

That AF logo looks vintage to me. I'm sort of a sucker for that 40s, 50s, and 60s Abercrombie stuff. I pick it up whenever I find it thrifting or at vintage stores. Best sweater I own is a 50s wool Abercrombie sweater I found for $10 at Savers.

Did you Hot soak?
Yup, hot soak and hung to dry upside down. They didnt really shrink much at all. After ~15 wears they have stretched in length, but I'm not sure how much.

XXXL, what boots are those? Look pretty awesome.

Viberg boots look great!!! What's with Paul Rose having only a 34 inseam? With shrinkage they will only be 32 or 31! And why only 36 w on most products? Has the 38 w been sold? Is it really odd to see someone in Quebec with a waist larger than 36 (34 with shrinkage) and an inseam greater than 34? Last time I checked construction and tradesmen were generally built. Not mad just really disappointed.
My paulrose only shrunk about 1 to 1.5 in the inseam. At first I thought they shrunk too much, but I think they settled nicely.

Any fit pics of the dip dyed vest? I was thinking about picking one up and was curious about sizing. If I wear a 40 suit would I go for a size 2?

Trying to decide between a workman and a utility...
How do the workman's wallet fit in the back pocket? Do they stick out quite a bit or just peek over the top? Also would the snaps wear a hole in my jeans?

seconded.
I will third another run. I've been looking for a shirt like that for a long time.

How do you all go about shrinking unsanfronized denim? Got my first pair and not sure the best way to do it. Sit in the tub with them? Hot soak alone? 2 soaks?

Anyone have evo pics of the reverse fade?
I saw a pair in a thrift store the other day. It looked kind of cool, but it also just looked like a dirty white jean.

Any of you with the selvedge flannel shirts notice they pill like crazy? Anything I can do to slow this down or stop this?

Anyone know anything about the sizing on the paulrose stuff?

Trying to decide between Momotaro 0201 and 3sixteen+ 11BSP...
edit: looking for a straight fit, something like a 501.

Anyone heard anything on the release of the new duck chinos? This time around is there going to be one in a traditional duck canvas color? I've been holding out for something like that for a while now....
