^I know, I was just curious, it was more of a complement toward adh because those pictures of him shooting in the desert are pretty awesome. I bought that same style a while back for dirt cheap during some big RRL sale here in LA, returned them because i didn't think I could pull them off at work, and have since been kicking myself for the past six months. To bad it didn't work out during this last sale either, so I'm still searching.
Anyway, don't want to derail the left field talk too much.

Whats the consensus on the stretch of the new indigo duck pants. My waist measures 30-31ish depending on the day, so I'm debating between a picking up the 30 (measures to a 31) or the 31 (measures to a 31.5) ?
adh props for picking up the camo pants, I'm tossing the idea around but may pass and just pick up the organic indigo. On an unrelated note, how do you like your RRL boots? They look badass, I'm keeping my eye out for when they finally go on sale.

i didn't think they were made in brown this time
neither did I, but thats what they told me when I called the RRL store. I guess they are a brown 2-tone boot, only available in store.

What's the sale price?
I think right around 550. Only for the brown ones.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on the Murdock boots. It appears they are on sale in store.
Anyone with them or have opinions on them think they are worth it?

Those are so awesome. I'm not really sure how to wear those, but they are just too cool.

Hey dkatz, did you find those for sale online somewhere?

If Christian stops by today...
Looks like the Hillside collab launches tomorrow? Are they going to be available on your site or Hillside's or somewhere else entirely?
Picking up some of this stuff would be a welcome distraction from all of the studying I'm having to do these days.

Yeah probably should have grabbed them. I thought about it, they had a big hole in the back where some of the stitching was coming undone. I've tried to do that in the past and have just broken even. Oh well, live and learn.
I'm dealing with a dilemma with caring for some boots with the rough out. Do these need to be oiled like my regular boots or what? I'm not really sure how to care for the leather on these.

For those of you in LA I found a pair of vintage 1960 Built-Rite (I think thats what they are called) at the Wasteland on Melrose. They were selling them for $150. I'm not sure how good they are but I guess they came from the Ralph Lauren vintage collection at RRL down the street where they were retailing for $1500. Not sure if they were worth that, but $150 seemed like a pretty good deal. I really wanted to pick them up but they were a lot big. Probably around an 11 or 11.5.

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into whites, I didnt know they offered an engineer boot. Being in medical school, all I've got is my savings from christmas and my birthday to work with, cant really afford to dig into the loan bucket.
What about these Yuketen's?
Sorry I cant figure out how to post pics from another website, so I've got to post the link.

Whats the deal with the 'Brandy' engineer boots? I love my Yuks, so I'm intrigued about an engineer boot. Anyone know if these were/are available ANYWHERE?!?!
I spent the better part of an afternoon at work trying to track these down on the google but to no avail. Anyone have a clue where they might be?

Can anyone recommend a quality engineer boot in the 400-600 range? I've looked at Wesco, Redwing and Lone Wolf. Really like the Lone Wolfs but I think I may be half a size larger then their biggest. Is there anything else I'm missing? I've been chasing a deal on engineer boots ever since I passed on these brand new RRLs for 200... its been 6 months and I'm still kicking myself.
edit: Im looking for that double sole, black look of the RRL/Lone Wolf. I'm tempted with Mister Freedom just down the street but I really cant afford to step up to the road champs...

I'm going to run soon, I'm getting a new shipment of brown White Oak selvedge duck so want to run it with that, It was just released from the Mill. I'm probably going to run both in the tailored fit as well since so many have requested. C
Camo pants? Now brown selvedge?
Guess I know my next few purchases... this is probably my favorite brand.
Really excited about those camo pants. Do you think they'll be available by the middle of June? I've got a big fishing trip to Wyoming planned, would love to wear those fishing and hiking in the Tetons.

I posted my NFxBJs some pages back. Wore them hard for 8 months, washed and... not much. Maybe you'll have better luck.

he's also a faggot who forgot to photoshop the name of the tab that says his web page is viewing volcom chinos . . .
Not to mention he used the picture from karmaloop.
This may be one of the greatest posts ever, thank you for your useless contribution.

Lone Wolf Engineer..
How do these fit?
Did you order from history preservation?
Trying to decide between these and some black Alden Indys (I know, completely different)

I know they are completely different but...
Alden Black Indy Boots or Lone Wolf engineer boots?
Want black boots.

that filson will last you forever and then some.
Duluth are ok
The brief case is cool (been carrying that same one awhile) but it doesnt hold a whole lot without getting heavy (i.e. 2-3 text books and a binder). If you want a backpack the filson backpacks are awesome.
Go Filson. You wont be disappointed.

Epaulet ducks
Great fit.
What are those boots?

Trying to decide whether to go for the iron heart DC4001 or the Roy RS03. Which one's based on fit, quality, durability, etc?
I know its splitting hairs but one has to come out on top in each of those. The cut I'm most looking for is something similar to my RRL straights, the jeans I always get the most compliments on.

These will barely stretch. After 3 months of wear (and a hot soak) mine have stretched about a half a size.

Good short sleeve henley recommendations?
I like the mister freedom union t and I think tender makes some nice ones
I'm looking for a pair of selvedge raw duck pants, similar to the Left Field ones (with welted pockets) but in that traditional carhartt brown color. Anyone have any ideas? Cant afford to go over like $250, so those nice mister freedom ones are a little out of my range.

If those are what I think they are, I'm stoked. There goes my tax return...

Those are pretty cool, unfortunately I have plenty of brown boots already. I wonder if the black ones will eventually go on sale. I really want something plain and simple.
