He's talking about his t50 having a close range problem not the yashica. Could be a lens problem. Just minimum focusing distance

yea trying to get my A&P. you?
I did it for 6 years in the military, a year and half in civilian world, but now in graphic design.

diniro, you an I have a lot of the same tools haha Are you in the aircraft industry by any chance?

Nice you got a strobe! However the image is over exposed, try stopping it down to about f11 ISO 200 at 125 shutter speed and then tune from there.

yep, I cant even get it that cheap at Walgreens! I can't afford a scanner unfortunately. I think the VSCO plug ins definitely help give it that film look but yeah its not perfect.

I love to shoot both, I just can never afford proper processing of the film...it's 11 dollars a roll then another 10 for the disk. For a handful of good shots it's not cost effective for me. I do use it when I have something really special to shoot. Then I will get prints to keep, which is another 3-7 dollars depending on how many I get.

Yes it forces you to be more creative because you have to work within the limitations of the sensor. It's always nice to have the option when you need it. I did love the shit out of my OM-D but i found it needed a little more DoF in the fashion spread than it was giving me. Plus I can rent lenses cheap, where as my shops dont carry anything but canon and nikon rentals.

Yes I had one as well, I liked it but the DoF wasn't as good but the AF was fast as you said.

You'll miss the focusing speed and price of primes. I had tons of mirrorless camera, now I have a 60d and love it so hard even though it's much larger it's more versatile. You'll also miss lens selections and ease of finding them. I wouldn't do it personally.

is graphic design considered art... really...
not trying to shit on it, because as graphic design its pretty cool, but as art...
but i think based god makes high art... so what do i know.
This is a highly heated debate that has been going on for as long as graphic design has been around. My opinion (yes I am biased) is that it's art. Old posters in the deco / art nouveau period are collected and shown in galleries. What constitutes art? It's subjective. I was trained in studio art and graphic design. What makes it not art? I'm not trying to grill you, I'm just trying to understand where you are coming from. There's a lot of graphic designers through the years have also had careers in studio art. It's just applying their creativity for different uses.
Now I'm not saying it's ALL art. For instance, a product ad that just shows a bowl of ice cream and says "blue bell, it's 100% natural." is art, but some of it is.... Does that makes sense?

I thought it was thin sheets or something laminated under the court, that'd be sick as hell.
