What's the best way to try to fix this ugly scratch on my wolverine 1k boots? I picked up some dark brown Fiebing's creme for a few bucks but I haven't used it yet. Later I read that there is a lot of pigment in it, but creams don't cover scratches as well as more waxy stuff does.

Try mustang paste,ive seen someone post it here after apply it. Nicely done.

Just want to say that there're a few very good options for horsehide shoes/boots that are not "expensive".

In fact, two of the pairs I plan to include in my line-up are below $300.

Including all types of leather would be too difficult - I'm trying to strike a balance between variability and similarity in terms of the leather, that's why I've narrowed it down to one animal, but not a specific tannage/processing restriction.

The horsehide would provide this contest with a theme as well.

If you have any ideas, please do let me know.

High roller comp.horse hide shoes are damm expensive.Why not count in all rounder leather and we can see which one looks better trough ages.Unless the idea is to short listed participants.Peace .

# Anti Hero84 Cooper a-2 is verry comfy and the fit is dope...goat skin leather is not to thick & bulgy & superb quality.I dont have experience with other exotic brand like buzz or mccoy which is so expensive , but cooper a-2 is worth the penny for a start.Will post fit pic soon.

Hollowsleather..are this model come with thermal insulated lining.This boot looks nice worth the penny go for it.
