As for bulling boots and their suitability with jeans, I was thinking about this the other day and couldn't make my mind up...problem I have is that I see a toecap and need to shine it
surely the way to wear shoes (and jeans for that matter) is 'how the fuck you like'?

that looks more reasonably priced. what size should i go for do you think?

the montague boot they posted on their blog a few months ago is fucking tasty too...

is there much difference? other than the price, and the stylish packaging?

i'm sure there's info elsewhere in the thread, but what would you guys suggest using for care & conditioning? the collar on my A2 looks lighter and duller than the rest of the jacket (looks 'dried out' if that makes sense) and there's a few other stress points (elbows, shoulders) that look like they could do with a bit of love... if it was shoes, i'd just give 'em a polish, but obviously that isn't an option here. what's the recommended care regime?

why not? probably not with jeans, but a two-tone brogue is a magnificent addition to anyone's shoebox.

it's a late 60s article by the looks of it btw - would say summer '69?

yep, would love to read the full article...

without a doubt.
tbh it wasn't the lack of denim knowledge the guy had that was funny so much as his gradual realisation of what he had, and the regular references to shipping to the far east...

the international postage is a bit high, but this looks like a good price on a big E shirt - the same guy has a cord type 2 for the same price too...

killer-b- never thought about that^ do you really think that many people would be interested, in old garments at a traveling museum???
yeah, i reckon. dunno what it's like in the US, but here there's a number of museums with a strong interest in clothes & costume, who already put on touring exhibitions. i'd say a well curated show with old pieces placed in context, maybe some repro's to show side-by-side, and some pics and info on how you found them could be very popular.
