Went to my friend's house and decided to finally take some update photos.

Samurai 710s at 8 months!

I think he thought you meant Levi's 510 cause that's the only skinny jean that brings "skin tight" to my mind.

BiG is coming out with a black 710 soon in VX denim. They have an indigo pair of 710s called the Blue Shadow and the black one is coming soon.

I don't see these around here much, but here's a pair of SExRJBxFH!

Well, the hurricane soak didn't do much except get dirt on my jeans, so I gave them a handwash anyway.

Not much damage in my area. The Sams took more of a beating from the wind than it did from the rain, haha

Although my last wash was two weeks ago, my jeans got dirty again and I decided to do a handwash outside. It's a beautiful day in NY!

I think Samurai 610 and the s003jp are among Samurai's slimmest cuts. The 710 is, by far, the more popular of the slim fits although it isn't quite as tapered as the 610 or the 003s.

Sorry for the extra late 6 month mark update! Honestly...I didn't even take update photos of the 5th month mark because not much has happened between then and now. But I did quite a lot between the 4th and 5th months. Sculpture classes were really intense, haha

The color is "true" or at least, close to the actual color. Perhaps a tad darker in the lighter parts because of dirt, but that's about it.

The honeycombs are beginning to develop and become more prominent!

Backpocket...I still need to find some replacement cloth, haha.

Sorry for the lack of posts guys! I haven't been wearing my 710s for the past week or so because it's getting really hot and humid. They were literally getting a sweat soak everyday before I stopped wearing them. The 710s are in the washer right now at the 5 month mark! (although they haven't been worn for a total of 20 or so days in total).

Here's the late 4 month update pictures. They're technically 4.5 month pics though.

Me? I don't mind paying to get them hemmed at all. Got them hemmed at SE for $25.

The thing is...I just can't bring myself to lie about those things. Call me naive, but I guess that's just who I am.

Besides, I'm pretty sure you're going to need a receipt or a proof of purchase in order to get a free hem from BiG (or any store at that) which I do not have.

If you mean loopwheeled tees in general, I'm pretty sure there's still some FH loopwheeled tees on the site.

Left my 710s at SENY for a hem yesterday (getting them hemmed to a 32 inseam).

It was surprising since even after 1 hot wash and 4 hot soaks...the inseam was still pretty long! One leg was 36.5 while the other was 37 hahaha.

Total number of days having not worn the 710s: 7

It feels so weird wearing something other than my jeans!

The fit is extremely similar between the APC NS and the 710s with very small and subtle differences. The measurements may differ slightly since the 710s requires an initial soak and that results in shrinkage, but they should still be similar.

The denim is much thicker and slubbier than that of the NS.
