Has anyone gotten the N&F collab? How does the denim compare to the normal momotaro denim?

i've got one. reckons it feels much smoother than momo denim. there's a preety much unknown area on what denim it is.

ultra- would you be getting the length hemmed? cause i measured mine and it was about 38.5. prolly gonna get mine hemmed to 34.

yeah they're sanforized. but good denim. feels good.

"Momotaro teamed up with N&F for this first ever co-brand between the two labels. The 14.5 oz denim was produced in Okayama Japan on vintage US shuttle looms and crafted into the Skinny Guy fit. I appreciate the copper rivets and iron Momotaro branded button components. A thin deerskin leather patch was placed on the back to finish off the Sanforized denim– meaning it won't shrink much if you choose to wash or soak them. The inseam also has Momotaro's trademark pink/peach inseam thread and the pocket bags have a Japanese Rising Sun and the Canadian Maple leaf."

i just bought one out of impulse. nothing that really shouts out the brand. very inconspicuous.

I don't own either, but I have the 1103ex, and I love the denim. It's really stiff at first, but I wore it all yesterday, and it isn't soft, but I would've thought that it would have taken longer to loosen up, and soften up. /it's stiff, but it's not as stiff as I would have expected it to be. If you decide to go for the 1103ex (even though you didn't say you wanted it), go TTS. That's my only regret, cause I am thinking I am going to give it another hot soak, and if I still don't like it then get mine tapered cause it is flaring out in the hips too much for my liking.

yeah might take a look into that. TTS, hahaha. japanese denim usually dont have my size except for certain brands. i usually go with the smallest. that's the problem why i didnt look into the 1103. but yeah will have a look.

anybody from london? would love to know any denim stores in london itself? like selling major brands pbj, samurai or even flatheads or skulls

They're doing a another run of those and they'll be done March 1st.

Fab Four will continue producing the 5010’s and we do have plans to restock them once the new production commences which will possibly start around the end of Feb or so, just not sure exact date at this point. In the meantime they’ve released a new style made of the same 5010 6x6 denim with a slight change to the fit and details. We’ve ordered these as well and expect them to arrive around the end of this month or early-mid Jan.

well in asia most people have the red tab. so if it was the cross, it would definitely be a stand out!

but nowhere seems to have it.

any idea on how to get my hands on one?
