  1. This 2.0 rise to fame is some rugged terrain to navigate. Kreayshawn got a mil for a viral video and is a laughing stock at face value already. Odd future is on their 14th minute and pitchfork stopped caring about lil b exactly 32 seconds after I'm gay leaked.

See that's the thing. Does anyone give a fuck about OF anymore? They're just touring like dogs trying to cash in on Tyler fame. I can't imagine anyone's going to care about any camp releases 1/8th as much as people were gassed up for Goblin.

  2. gonna try both of those good looks

Go for the BMH over the Michters. BMH is tougher to come by and has so much more depth. It's dollar for dollar the best booze I've ever had and drink like bourbon's that are twice its price. You may have to order it online.

  3. I want suggestions for Rye, plz. Not too expensive...

Michters all day. My default bottle always stocked up. $35/bottle. Excellent value.

Best value I've seen in whiskey as of late is Black Maple Hill bourbon. I can drink this shit every day til i die.

  4. @chewything: yes!!

@seafinch: i'd say go for it w the vibram soles

Need advice homies, just picked up this EG bedford in a small, can't decide if i should go up to a med so i can layer underneath, afraid it'll look a little big if worn w just a shirt on as pictured:

Yeah mayne. How much layering you possible gonna do besides a chunky sweater or lightweaight fleece w/ a vest anyway?

  5. Couldn't fuck with Out Of This World at first, but it fits nicely at the end of the ASAP tape.

This album's gotta be top 5 of the year. Can't really think of anything I've knocked more in any genre.

  6. for what it's worth you seem to enjoy mad men and not one character on there can keep my attention so I get it. I can't remember BB's timeline perfectly, but I loved the first season.

Is this for me? I'm not a huge MM fan, just find it entertaining. I agree that the characters are hardly redeeming, but I find the cultural differences of the 60's to today's age very compelling, especially the points focused on businesses. The story line and characters do nothing for me, really. Don Draper is a boring punk.

Not to pull it back to the wire, but it's fucking crazy just how amazing the characters are. I enjoy more characters from the wire than i do from the rest of TV history combined. I can't even think of any character from any TV show that I like more than just about any character on the wire, except maybe Hank Hill.

  7. I hate that you haven't watched the wire. I hate that anyone who hasn't watched the wire, hasn't watched the wire. It should be mandatory curriculum in public education. Just like you're forced to read gatsby and catcher and discuss the social relevance or commentary or whatever, same should be the wire.

  8. Breaking Bad is second only to The Wire. I loved it immediately though

Characters just seem so contrived so far. The wigger meth cooking pot head seems like a throwaway character from Go, Walter's limp-dick teacher to murdering drug dealer transition seems total outlandish. I duno, I'll hang in there for season one and reserve the rest of my judgements.

FWIW, I wasn't hooked on the Wire until the Chess scene at the pit.
