Just a little pic of my 700 at around...7 months of wear. They've been getting less wear in this heat/humidity, though. Love the wavy-ness. Great pair of jeans here.

Don't own it but tried on recently. Sizing on the torrentshell is pretty perfect. You will have some room for layering if you go true to your normal size. Size down one if you're not looking to layer at all. It is pretty breathable as well. Personally i would pay a little extra for the rain shadow, which fits similarly. You might find it cheaper some places too.

I'm now home from my trip to Tokyo. Such a beautiful place with so much soul! I miss it dearly. I will be back, I know it.

thanks a lot! I sized down one on these....the waist is a tiny bit tight right now after a warm soak so I'm hoping they'll stretch out just enough...But other than that they look/feel great and I'm just eager to wear these things!

edit: I'm heading to Tokyo for 24 days tomorrow..Will be my first time in Japan let alone Asia. These jeans are gonna be with me for my trip. New year, new jeans, new places, new experiences. I'll definately be taking pictures, perhaps I'll post some up of some cool stuff + jeans...I don't plan on sleeping much on this trip, the 700s are in for a treat (or beating?!)!!!
