Any of you all on PC? Been playing a lot of PUBG with friends. Also the new Total War: Warhammer II is out and it seems pretty great so far.

Yeah, I mean I can't blame him. But he lost control of the company years ago during the multiple rounds of VC. Pretty sure this sale to Nestle was so Google Ventures and other VC companies could get their take.

Has internet coffee culture mostly died? I feel like the coffee threads on all the forums I go to are dead.dead.
Anyway, I bought the Hario Next Siphon because I lost my Yama in a move 2 years ago. The process and cleanup are so involved and it's hard to be consistent but when you nail it, damn the coffee is good.

Love my KS-002 but through a combination of too many cookies and squats they are fitting a little tight. Not unwearable, but not the sweet spot either. Definitely my favorite pair of denim I've ever owned. Love the cut.

Anyone smoke a pipe? I know is mostly old dudes at this point. I mostly smoke by myself at home because the quizzical looks got annoying.

Both are diaries of WWI soldiers. Jünger was a German "storm trooper" or shock trooper who might be the bravest person I have ever come across. A ruthless but thoughtful killer. Really fascinating post-war life too.
Lucy was an Irish soldier who enlsited with his brother in 1912. His brother perished during The First Battle of the Aisne. Lucy's account is heartbreaking, especially for me since I have three brothers.
'Taker care of yourself', and I blushed at such a display of anxiety in the presence of my comrades. My brother steadied a moment in a stride which was beginning to break into a steady run forward, and looking back over his shoulder, winked reassuringly at me. The beggar would wink.
Forward he went, and out of my sight for ever.
fuck.

Picked up the newish Pax2 (Pax1 owner as well) and it is pretty great. Oven holds about .3g of finely ground herb. Battery has approximately 3 times the capacity which, in my opinion, increases it's utility greatly. Unclear whether it is worth $250 but it's great.
Also, moved to a new mid-sized American city and got hooked up with a delivery service. So dope. I just text them between 3-9pm and they show up within the hour with a decent selection of good bud and wax. Only caveat is it's $60 for 3g and no volume discounts but the convenience, for me, is more than worth it.

I don't know Heart but that sounds like absolute bull to me..Any Italian barista would rip their heads of. Not to get into the technical side of things but getting your espresso better tasting in milk??
It's a espresso
But then again ordering at a typical american coffee bar still scares the living daylights out of me. Especially ordering a doppio..And it's not the hardware but the human touch and the coffee..So you can't blame them for trying to get one more out of the bad coffee equation especially if your name is attached to it.
what?

Pre-orded my Lido 2 a couple weeks ago (expecting March 1 ship date). Really excited about it for traveling, car camping, light bike camping (it's 3.5lbs lol.) Probably going replace my Preciso, so if anyone is interested, i'm fielding offers (only sent 10-15lbs through it in one year of use, all for drip).

$200 shipped CONUS.
2) Japan Blue 0716 Sulphur dyed warp + weft. Size 33. Hemmed to 33. Worn twice. Really nice denim but realized after the first wear that they would end up being too big on me. Such a shame. My loss is your gain.

3) The Strike Gold Flannel | Red | Medium
$140 shipped.
Willing to hear offers on all the above.

Has anyone recalibrated a Preciso or Virtuoso? My Preciso somehow came out of alignment. I tried to take the case off but cracked it in the process. Any tips appreciated.

What'd you think of West 6th? It's down the street from my house. Great tap room. Decent beers. Nothing really impressive.

hey I sold it. It was the smaller one. They are the same size but it stretches nicely to fit one's noggin. Highly recommended and well worth the price if they sell them again.

Double post for thread revival?
Same friend introduced me to the Maxpedition bottle holder and it's freakin' perfect for my EDC needs including gym time. I plan to carry it while traveling overseas too while out exploring.
Super modular, I added the shock cord and also added another "cocoon" pouch to the side (not pictured). Really like that it carries my nalgene, keys, pocket for passport/field notes, light, keys, knife, etc.
outlier ftw. What do you own of theirs?

rad. any ideas for a build? I built a mATX w/ a 6600K + GTX1070 last summer. It rules. New AMD CPUs look solid though.
