Double strap-wise, Cadence double straps are affordable:
$65 bucks.
If you need something in a pinch or on a wild budget, run two singles - I've done that for years.

Any opinions on a decent entry level lens for the Canon Rebel XTi? I'd be doing mostly daytime street shots & some portrait type photos too. I really have no technical photography background, any heads up would be appreciated.

If you feel aluminum is too harsh get a carbon fork to soften up the ride. I threw one on my GTB and it's great, super responsive and comfortable enough to ride long distances.

Regino does amazing work but there's such a wealth of talent on the West Coast - stay in CA and put the money you'd save towards a bigger/cooler tribal tatt.
Prof. Klem at Sam Oreilly's in Santa Cruz is good, everyone at the shop is too, actually.

I used a Fulmer V2 for a good while, pretty comfortable and I like the removable bubble shield. Downside is it makes my head look like a ping pong ball. Licks is releasing a low-pro DOT helmet HERE.

I thought the Wind Up Bird Chronicle to have an interesting story arc, but in the end felt rather pointless, oh well.
This on the other hand, along with the rest of Miller's work, has been great:
Also slugging though this as time permits:

This bike is tits. Harpoon is a great painter too.
On another topic, what are you folks riding helmet-wise? Had this T&T Co Trooper 2 for a while but I'm going to pick up a DOT helmet here pretty soon.
The Trooper is a great lightweight lid and it creeps people out but since I'm putting a lot more freeway miles down I want to upgrade. Anyone have experience with the Simpson Street Bandit, or recommend anything similar, full face?

Dump all the random shots from your phone you've amassed over time. I'm always surprised to find weird shit I don't remember taking. These are from my iphone over the course of about 6 months.

Hooper is on point, post it all the time.
That Hooper key reminded me of John Reardon's rad daggers he's been blasting.
You get the point, rest of dudes work is top notch too.

Good book. Read any Henry Miller? If you like this you should enjoy Tropic of Cancer / Tropic of Capricorn.
But fuck Celine for being a yellow bellied Nazi sympathizer.

The jap tiger is really not a bad tattoo. It's not to my taste at all, and I think it lacks the contrast, expression and boldness of a proper Japanese style tattoo - BUT it's applied well, dudes Koi is OK too. Live and learn - maybe you guys should post flicks of non 'lisa frank' tiger tattoos. Help a brother out.
Return your tat, br0!
I mean, look at the rainbow lunchbox, fruitcake looking ass tiger - what a fucking pussy.

I'm not 'qualified' (or paid enough) to ride one of these, but the Zero Engineering/Samuari Chopper aesthetic gives me a woody
shinya kimura is the shit, not as much of a fan of the stuff coming out of his chabott shop - but his influence is pretty unmistakable.
