i got the merkur hd as my first safety razor and i love it. highly recommended. my brother got the edwin jagger de89l and likes it but i prefer the merkur. can't really go wrong either way!

tufts and vassar are good schools. the best advice i can give you is seriously put a lot of though into it. choose somewhere you are really going to be happy spending four definitive years of your life. i did not and i am stuck somewhere that i hate each day (uchicago). do not make that mistake. good luck!

Anyone have experience with how much Ebbets hats stretch?

I got a 7 1/8 in the grey one, but it's snug. I've heard they stretch, but not sure how much.

From experience, would you guys recommend sizing up to 7 1/4 for the new order, or stick with 7 1/8 and count on the stretch?

I wanna put in an order for a navy one, but I don't want to get one that stretches too much and becomes unwearable.
