  1. Doc- I'm with you on land rovers. I've had a discovery and it was such a fun car. Ate more than me but I loved it. I would love a defender 110 but super hard to get one in the USA (unless you import one yourself) as it was only imported in 1993.

Paul would love a copy signed sealed and delivered as well. Congrats again.

Eltopo-killer pics and the jacket looks ace amigo.

  2. Unfortunately I can't post all the pics from my camera as of now cuz the story was for Inventory mag. Also, the location can't be disclosed for other reasons. All I can say is that we were in an abandoned place from long long ago and it was an awesome place

to be. eltopo took lots of pics as well which he'll be posting when he gets back from his trip.

That's Mike's father in law who's a big part of his project. He's a great guy with an amazing amount of knowledge.

  3. nice stuff everyone and thanks for the compliments and rep.

Mike's father in law russ is wearing the rising sun "deadgrass" pants and was holding them up with a rope. It's not apparent in this pic, but eltopo has some pics of it that I think he'll be posting soon. He's a super cool guy with an immense amount of knowledge. He's been a geologist working for the state of california for 39 years. He definitely knows cali like the back of his hands.

  4. The middle of nowhere? Man, that sure looks like SOMEwhere!

Let me make my self more clear, that pic was on the way to nowhere. And by that I mean there was nothing else to be found for miles. Unfortunately I can't post all the pics from my camera as of now cuz the story was for Inventory mag. Also, the location can't be disclosed for other reasons. All I can say is that we were in an abandoned place from long long ago and it was an awesome place to be.

meanwhile a few more iPhone pics from the trip....

  5. Quick snap with me and Kobayashi san the president of Flat Head at Inspiration just outside of the Queen Marry. What an awesome guy. as nice as can get. He wouldn't stop smiling the whole time, and then gives me a pair of jeans at the end of today's shoot.

    IMG_3710.jpg

Keep an eye out for a 8-10 page feature on Flat Head in the fall issue of Inventory Magazine.

Jimmyc-I dig the beard. Lendo- tip top. I just noticed the rose in your hand

  6. work has been kicking my butt. I'm beat and haven't had a chance to look through the pics yet. just finished the shoot earlier today. plus, I can't post anything that I'm going to submit. however, I promise to post pics that I didn't submit. would you settle for this pic of me and Kobayashi san for now.

On a side note, the story is gonna be in the fall issue. 8-10 page article on Flat Head.

That's gotta be you. The belt was a dead give away ;)

I just got done photographing the flathead crew for Inventory. Kobayashi san gave me a pair of 3009. Gonna soak them now. Not sure of the shrinkage so I'm gonna start with a warm soak.

  8. 1st off sorry for the lack of posts on this thread recently. Work has been kicking my ar$e.

I have been wearing nothing but my roy's and they feel super comfy and really digging everything about them.

Now on to the good stuff. It was really great to finally meet rnr and eltopo and hang with mike again. I didn't go to inspiration last year, but it was a good time this year. Got to see some old friends and some nice gear.

And to top it off, Adrianna Lima walked by me 3 times. There was a victoria secret shoot on the queen marry and of course she would be there representing. Me and Kiya had to literally pick up our jaws off the ground. I find her to be one of the most beautiful women in the universe.

Thanks for posting this pic eltopo.

    Awesome show! Great seeing everyone!

  9. I love Modernica stuff as well. I have my eye on a bed too lol. I would love to see a pic of your chairs Paul. Rocker prices are crazy, especially here in Cali where everyone is all about Eames and mid century stuff.

I really want that LCW but they are not as common as the DCW which I see on ebay and craig's list often.

  10. Awesome Cory!!!

    Congrats Farhad!!! That sounds awesome!

Thanks for the compliments on the chair guys. I really want the Rocker chair as well. I was hunting for a vintage on but I don't think there was enough room for it in that corner. I may still get one and use this one as an office chair. But next on the hit list is this one

Pomota I got mine from Modernica. Here's a link http://modernica.net/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=2

  11. Good stuff everyone.
